5 ★This is the perfect app for English learners and enthusiasts. Simple andeffective, it helps learn new words very very quickly. I would highlyrecommend this for all those who aspire to master the English vocabulary.In a recent experience, I've found out that the devs are very prompt incorrecting mistakes when the user points them out. That's like icing on thecake for this app! Kudos!
4 ★There are lots of things to like. It really nails the word and meaning to your brain. Somethings I don't like are, there should be an auto list history of all the words searched. There should be a feature to select and search on screen as now if I want to know the meaning of word on screen somewhere, I have to type it.
5 ★I've used many different dictionaries out there and this one is HANDS DOWNthe best of all. No joke. Explanations are very easy to understand and Idon't know how, but it keeps me very motivated. I never thought I would getaddicted to "learning vocabularies". More importantly, not only this helpsimprove my vocabularies but also gain knowledge about the current issuesaround the world. It definitely worth the money.
5 ★I approached it tentatively, only to be drawn deeper, almost compulsively,through its nooks and crannies. An irresistible learning lode, profound yetmade easy to handle, and then some! And, this has become my last resort,when I am to get clarity of understanding English language. 3 ★It hasn't update since a long time ago when I don't remember. When you put in your answer for spelling questions you can't edit it if it's wrong, but you have to select the whole answer cut it and retype the write answer. You can lose a lot of points by choosing wrong answer just because the answers are tight together and the chance of hitting wrong answers is high.
3 ★I was so impressed by website version that i decided to buy this app and to my great surprise i find out that you can't add words to your lists in the app. Without this feature the app becomes useless.In my opinion it should have been the other way around, you pay for the app and doesn't get all the features whereas you use the site for free and it has everything you need. Just add this feature to the app and not only would I give 5 stars but also recommend the app to my friends.
5 ★I bought this app for my preparation of GRE. The most important difference between any dictionary and this app is that one can practice the questions after selecting the words of your choice. This makes learning so much fun. App still lags few of the basic features like editing the list etc.
4 ★I really love the concept of this app; the way these words are put into different context makes it a true learning experience. One problem it keeps on freezing up, I have to literally shut my phone down and power it back on for this app to unfreeze, Please fix..
2 ★Several words which are available in almost all free dictionaries can also not be found in this cr'app'. e.g. Gravamen, dwerk and I can't say how many more are not available. I have stopped using this app due to its 'in'completeness. No distinguishing feature such as finding history or some words, which you may want to save for later viewing or revising are available. Mariam Webster, Collins Cobuild are excellent apps in this section. An average indian can't connect with examples taken from US newspapers.
4 ★It's a great tool for learning new words and their definitions. However,I've had some trouble trying to backspace when I've spelt my answer wrongon the writing questions. Often I'll have to turn off the app and then tryagain. Other than that it's great for it's purpose and worth the money!
2 ★It worked fine at the start on my Nokia 5 and I enjoyed using it but now a lot of modules (eg- lists) are very buggy and inaccessible. The app seems to hang as soon as I try to open anything other than the play section
4 ★It is the best app that I got for vocabulary but there are some serious bugs . Like 1. Not able to access the lists separately the app freezes when I open the list. 2. backspace key doesn't work while filling up words. Apart from this Kudos to the developers for such amazing app :)
