A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★Best gaming experience on mobile so far. The game works great on my phone and never crashed once. This was my first Dragon Quest game and it was great for the price. The story and game play is simple but so much fun. This is JRPG at its roots. Try beating it without a guide for the ultimate rewarding feeling. Regardless, be sure to quick save OFTEN! Don't want to lose your progress!
5 ★Ahhh, what can I say that can do this game Justice. I really can't, for 3 dollars you get the most basic rpg you can imagine, easy to play, easy to beat, and it's not all laid out flat infront of you so it's fun for beginners, and gets you into the realm. Five stars because I want anyone who comes across this game to try it; if you can't beat it you're not understanding how to play a rpg, and if you do it's good to build experience to take with you into other games. Good for beginners, good for experts as a revamp, good for anyone who wants to legitimately try and beat a game without having to use guides! Just download it already if you've gotten this far down, you can't really be let down: you're getting exactly what you paid for and a gateway to other RPGs in the process!
2 ★While this app gives you a game closs to the original, it is much easier. I would rate this better, but the fact that you have to be on wifi or data to even play it, really upsets me. What if I'm in a low signal area? What if I dont want to burn a bunch of high speed data while away from home? It really upsets me. 2* is the best I can offer.
5 ★Never played any of the Dragon Quest games before, but these are pretty good. Easy to get into and understand. Port works flawlessly.
4 ★I have many fond memories of playing this game on the NES so it's awesome that you can get much of the original experience in a mobile app. First off, this game just works: no ads, no account to set up. You start the game and play from start to finish. The controls have some nice quality of life improvements over the original. The dialogue is in a take middle English style true to the original, and its otherwise a joyfully simple RPG.
5 ★Classic RPG excellence. If you haven't played this masterpiece, you are missing out. This and the original final fantasy are what estentially convinced Japanese Devs to allow their games to come over to the West. It holds up considerably well, however, be prepared for some serious grinding and annoyingly frequent random encounters. (at least when you don't want them) still, if you haven't played this and are a fan of classic style jrpgs, then what are you waiting for?
5 ★My DQ1 review. First time DQ game, loved it. Its simply an RPG, but it definitely has life, if you check every corner and every NPC then you'll get a lot of back story.. and clues. The game play is simple and does require a grind, but legit it loads so fast I found myself whipping my phone out on work breaks just to do some grinding, I got hooked. The game is quite short, IMO that's good, it's everything you want, hard but simple combat and don't get too cocky, well worth the cheap price!!
4 ★As with the other mobile DQ ports, I is surprisingly solid. Touch controls suit it very well and rarely gave me issue. However, I can't give it 5 stars as it does suffer from the unfortunate malady of being DQ I. As much as it is a piece of gaming history and should be preserved at all costs, it is also very much a product of its time: dreadfully slow, simple, and cryptic. If you have a lot of patience, or just want to see where this lovely series began, give it a go. Beware of knight aberrant.
5 ★First off, let me just say the touch controls work perfectly. Played through the whole game and at no point were they a hindrance. The game itself is a fun RPG. Didn't play the NES original so I can't speak to changes or refinements (although I think they may have renamed a few spells). They included a quick save option so you don't have to go back to the king to save every time. Relatively simple and not incredibly long, but a fun game all around (and you can't beat the price).
3 ★I loved the original dragon warrior game. This mobile version is similar and adds a lot of quality of life improvements such as saving anywhere any time, adding a bank to store useless items, and a few others. My only complaint is that the game is way easier than the original game was. I easily beat the game at level 19. There is overpowered treasure in all the caves. And gold golems give 650 gold. Certain quest mobs give thousands of xp. Basically little grinding needed and done at level 19
1 ★Game refuses to launch when wifi or mobile is on, and for a while you could make it work by making sure that you were in airplane mode, but now even that doesn't work, giving me a "dq1 connection lost" message when I try. Guess is that the game needs to authenticate itself to the server after a set number of time/launches, and it can't do that if you always play it with wifi off. This makes the game unplayable right now. And here I was thinking of playing through the entire series on mobile... that's a lot of lost money Square.
3 ★Game was good. 👍 Could have been better if it was in landscape mode and the controller pad not in the middle but overall fun game. Same as the original
