Программа предназначена для удобного чтения англоязычной литературы и заучивания встретившихся незнакомых слов. Её основная идея состоит в следующем: пользователь читает с экрана какой-либо англоязычный текст (например, художественный роман) и если в процессе чтения он встречает новое для себя слово, он может коснуться его пальцем и посмотреть перевод, а также пометить это слово как незнакомое. Все встреченные в текстах слова заносятся в личный словарь пользователя – это позволяет через пару месяцев составить хорошее представление о своём словарном запасе, если регулярно читать. При этом, те слова которые были отмечены как незнакомые, можно заучивать с помощью тренажёров (например, показывается английское слово, и нужно написать его значение на русском, или наоборот).Важной особенностью данной программы является то, что для каждого изучаемого слова накапливаются контексты, в которых оно было прочитано. В дальнейшем, они используются в качестве подсказок, помогающих вспомнить слово. Например, допустим пользователь изначально не знал слово "hurtle", и в первый раз увидел его, читая книгу "Хоббит", в таком контексте: "Smaug came hurtling from the North, licking the mountain-sides with flame". Он щёлкнул по слову и в появившемся окне выбрал подходящее значение: "пролетать, нестись со свистом". Представим, что затем он взялся читать книгу о Гарри Поттере и увидел там фразу: "At first they just hurtled through a maze of twisting passages."
