HISTORY IN THE MAKING
Twilight Struggle puts the player at the center of the Cold War, the political and economic struggle between the U.S. and the U.S.S.R that spanned 5 decades from the 1950's to the 1990's. Designed by award winning creators Ananda Gupta and Jason Matthews, players control one of the two modern superpowers, as they work to spread their dominance throughout the world via political influence and coup attempts. But if either side triggers nuclear war, it's game over!
CARD BASED EVENTS
The event cards in the game are based on actual historical events from the Cold War era. Through the playing of these events, players exert their superpower's influence as they attempt to gain allies and regional control of the globe. From the early days of De-Stalinization, to the Cuban Missile Crisis, the Vietnam War and beyond, players are immersed in the actual events of the struggle between these two nations to be the dominant superpower in the world!

2 ★Twilight Struggle is one of favourites and this app version is fantastic, especially ehen playing with new people to teach them the rules or to refresh after not playing for a while. However the Android 10 update on the Pixel 2XL at least has broken the game and it no longer loads. I have emailed the support team and hope to hear back from them to see if they can fix it, it would be a real shame if it stays in this state. Will mark back up to 5 starts when fixed.
5 ★Terrific board game. The app does a good job capturing it. One nice feature is that it helps newer players learn about defcon suicide by flagging potentially game ending situations - one of the most important aspects of the game. This app does crash consistently once per game. Nothing that patience can't overcome, I have never had a game that wouldn't continue after I reloaded a few times. One parting thought - the AI's success percentage with Indo-Pakistani War is ridiculously high.
5 ★Excellent digital implementation of an outstanding 2-player strategy game.
3 ★Literally an exact port of the version you can find on Steam, which is fantastic. Several annoying issues that make this inferior to the desktop version, however. The "on the board" special condition tiles (e.g. NATO, Flower Power, etc.) are not really viewable, as you can't hover a cursor over them like on a computer. Additionally, the game won't let you purchase the additional content, and despite repeated inquiries to the developers I have gotten no response on how to remedy this.
1 ★Great digital implementation of a great board game. However, it does have a few glitches, the most significant I've hit was my inability to restore the expansion content when I changes devices. Cue to the WORST possible support experience: ive tried contacting support on 3 occasions, all attempts end up with a request for more information, you reply to it, following which you are promptly ignored and receive no further communication. Very unprofessional: (Edit: 10 times now:(((, no response)
5 ★Better then the original. Wasn't disappointed. Allows games faster then the board game. Good times.
5 ★It's great game. Physical as well this electronic adaptation unfortunately can't install anymore on Android 10 any chance fixing this ? It was android issue after latest update works again
4 ★This is a great game but sometimes I seriously question the AI's judgment. For example it just committed Defcon 1 suicide by choosing to coup a battleground county on turn 2. It wasn't close to losing on the point track and it could've just placed influence instead. Similarly I've seen it choose not to coup on someone else's turn when it could've won defcon 1. It also doesn't seem to take the threat of losing by European control seriously, when Europe is dominated.
2 ★Text is tiny. Game not designed for touchscreen but seems like a port.

5 ★Was first introduced to the real life board game, which I loved, and find this to be a great adaptation. great to play by yourself though the real one had that ability, this one is much cheaper and more mobile. great buy
4 ★Very good adaptation of the boardgame. There are only two things stopping me from giving it 5 stars: 1) At least 2 cards that are in the boardgame are missing - NORAD and Special Relationship. This makes the game even more balanced in favour of the USSR than the boardgame. There may be others missing but these are the only two I have noticed so far. 2) The game crashes sometimes
