USB Media Explorer APK Download for Android

Description

USB Media Explorer (UME), formerly known as Nexus Media Importer, allows you view photos (Jpeg and Raw), stream videos1, listen to music, and view documents from USB storage devices and cameras. Specialized screens for photos, videos, music, documents and file management. Copy files to and from the USB device. View full size photos and videos without importing!

Additional Hardware Requirements:
- Connecting most devices will require a microUSB OTG cable or USB C to USB adapter. These are available from most major retail websites.

Notes:
1. Video and audio formats not natively supported by Android (AVI, Dolby, DTS, WMV) may require a third party player like VLC.
2. Hard drives require considerable power and may require an external power source, like a powered USB hub.
3. Only cameras with storage are supported. Live image devices like endoscopes and webcams are not supported.
4. To access another Android device, put the target device in MTP/File Transfer Mode.
5. Most “i” devices use a proprietary protocol. These are NOT supported.
6. Only DVD drives that support AV Connect mode or similar are supported. See your DVD drive manual. Commercial DVDs are not supported.

3 ★Nice....but copy/paste needs work. Moving & copying from one source to another is not simple. This app does read all sources (external/internal). I gave this a try on my Samsung Tab s6 because it will not read my Seagate usb 3.0 drive. This app allowed access to the drive.

3 ★Works especially when I want to transfer photos and movies from my SD card that is formatted by my Sony a6400 camera. Sadly I wish it had an option to transfer photos and videos at the same time and now just photos and videos separately, also photo transfers gives wrong time luckily exif fixes it

1 ★I'm giving you 4 stars, I would have given you 5, but only because I've just purchased this app. I've tried many none of them works this is the only one that works for me so well done..

5 ★I've been a user for be years now, and while I was not inially a fan of the new interface, it's grown on me since. With the addition of the splitscreen mode under the new interface, this version is my favorite iteration so far.

5 ★Best app ever !!! User-friendly. I was totally astonished , this developers are quick and very responsible in sorting out any app issue when I mailed them with the debug log ( available in the app).

5 ★Spent all day trying to connect my Pixel 3aXL to my Sandisk Extreme Pro Portable SSD. My SSD is now formatted in NTFS which gets around the 4GB FAT32 size limit and this app circumvents the ban on NTFS. Thsnk you. ExFAT would be perfect but I'll settle for NTFS for now

3 ★I've had this app for a couple years. All of a sudden it was gone off my phone. After paying for it again(which I dont think I should is had to) theres no way to delete the photos I dont want. I think you really need to get this fixed

1 ★I purchased this app and after having used it many times i now get a message stating i need to purchase it again. Seems that you only have a limited number of times you can use the app even if you purchase it !

1 ★For awhile it was good but after the recent update I can no longer find pictures I move to my phone. I have looked in every folder but am unable to. Great disappointment to the fact I have lost some great photos.

5 ★After a little learning curve works great for viewing trail cam pics and saving and sharing from within the app. Make sure your card reader is not worn out because connection can be intermittent, but with solid reader worked flawless..

3 ★Can we please have the apks from the old versions? The new interface is massive and difficult to use. We used to have a few more options to configure the layout how we wanted. I want to be able to see more than four files on each half in split screen mode... 😭

5 ★Able to access and write external hard drive without root..only app that does the job without any problem..don't listen to noobs complaining about this app..worth every penny(I don't spend money on apps or gives review much)
