5 ★Hey guys! I don't know what to say. That is to say.. I get a little verbose in my ratings of games.. i.e. I tend to gush when I like a game ( but it has to be exceptional for me to do so) This game IS exceptional. I have played through the demo version and was enthralled. Very cool concept. I read all the ratings people gave and the comments about the violence.. well I am glad you stuck to your guns. Great game guys. Keep it up.
5 ★There's some clever puzzling here for sure, but the real joy of Shadows is how many times my eyebrows go up and my mouth falls open as something bizarre and slightly horrifying happens. Beautiful artwork and amazing atmosphere. This is a scary wonderful world to inhabit while I wait for my class.
5 ★I'm sure a lot of hard work went into this game, and this review is not to troll the developers but to give my honest opinion as a consumer. I find it somewhat boring. although the shadow effects are original. Updated: after a few more levels. Nice work developers!
3 ★Would be a ton better if it were playable by kids. Spooky weird sounds and glitchy migraine graphics? Fine. Gratuitous cutscene violence that adds absolutely nothing? Just no need. Level design is nice and simple compared to Monument Valley, but that game I want to play again. This one feels like a chore.
4 ★for some reason I am having enormous difficulty getting the player to actually step onto the glowing squares/moving platforms. I click and the player doesn't move. Also, I can't select levels.
4 ★The game was really fun. My only problem was when the puzzle required the character to move onto a movable platform, the game had difficulty registering that I was trying to move the character rather than the platform.
5 ★Absolutely amazing game. The work and imagination put into this piece really shows. The story is intriguing and the game play is complex but easy to understand. Very satisfying and never gets boring or tedious. Exactly what you want from a puzzle game.
5 ★strangely beautiful, novel gameplay. i enjoyed the narrative too: it was surprisingly dark and violent, but in the right way to set up the suspense. music worked well with the theme.
4 ★very good game design, creative ideas for the levels and quite pretty. not 5 stars because the difficulty in the puzzles was not quite there. controls could be made better because sometimes i accidently walked insted of moving an object.
5 ★The game is filled with brain teasing puzzles and most importantly its story packs some punch, although it's somewhat hard to understand the details. I really liked the spooky and mysterious atmosphere.
5 ★It can occasionally be a little difficult to tap where you want to move (especially when direction is important), but that by no means detracts from the game. Wonderful puzzler!
1 ★no landscape mode. updated on developer response: first,thx for the quick response, I understand. the big let down to me is that I play with a huawei media pad, and with portrait mode, I have no stereo sound, because a tablet is intended to be used in landscape. in portrait speakers are situated in top and bottom, so estereo sound is lost.
