Ignatius is a atmospheric puzzle-platformer game with an interesting story. The game with its visual form and plot refers to the old silent movies. Graphic design of "Ignatius" is a unique combination of different aesthetics - hand drawing , noir , vintage , art deco and even steam – punk elements . The game is embellished by atmospheric music and an interesting background feature.The game takes us to the surreal, black-and-white world where we play as a character named Ignatius.Main character is a boy a bit bored with his current monotonous life. One moonlit night something unexpected happened, something that turn his orderly life upside down. He encountered a mysterious theater director named Vigo, who moves him to oneiric film reality.
The player's task is to find his way in this strange world and escape from it.
In the game we will face the obstacles of a logical and arcade kind . We will fight with bosses and take a travel by surreal world full of strange creatures and intriguing places.
During the game we can find fragments of the book , so that we can know the history of our main opponent , as well as learn how to weave of unexpected events influenced our present fate

3 ★There are no checkpoints in levels so if you die you have to start completely over-this gets quite annoying for me personally. The controls don't work well as of today so I'm constantly walking off edges and then having to again, restart from the beginning. Has anyone who has a nexus had the same issue since the nougat update? The levels are all just about collecting the 3 sections of the film reel, so just not really motivated to keep on.
5 ★I never review games, but this is clean and beautiful. It's a little eerie and a lot fun. No ads, no micro transactions, no weird promotions. It could use spell check occasionally, but otherwise, it's absolutely lovely. I was sad when it was over!
3 ★"It's OK" is a good description for this game in my opinion. Some ratings seem to praise the music and sound effects, personally I could barely stand the two seconds loops that are the music or the noises that are reused for different types of enemies. Gameplay is very repetitive and the level design has a lot of forced and useless backtracking, probably in attempt to pad the game and make it longer.
5 ★I really liked this game. I played it all through the end, but I was a bit disappointed it ended so fast...I was expecting more levels. The controls are ok, and I liked that if you carry something, then you don't jump as high or move as fast (that was a nice touch). Also I liked the background, graphics and little jokes here and there :)
4 ★Overall the game play was nice. The story flowed nicely and it wasn't too frustrating or difficult. It took me a while to realise checkpoints weren't a thing and instead the game relied on manual saving throughout. Also the jump button is sometimes unresponsive and the English in some of the dialogue could be improved, I enjoyed playing and enjoyed learning about the story throughout each level.
3 ★The graphics, music and story are very good. The controls are not precise enough, the sprite collision is terrible (getting "hit" when there is clearly space between the guy and an enemy), and the complete restarting of a level if you fall down a hole make the game just OK. Fix those issues and this game would be excellent.
4 ★I am stuck running around a cinema in level 12 (where did level 11 go?) with a steam powered animal that kills me if i interact with it, and no power for the lift
5 ★Nice game very pretty to look at . Nice music . But the controls make it frustrating and the no saving make it a nightmare . Has problems jumping and walking it randomly just stops. Then it doesn't save so you have start from beginning. Want to keep playing and finish the game . But would like these things fixed
4 ★Very well thought out game. Good puzzles, and decently challenging without being frustrating. There are some entertaining surprises too. The end of the story is a little hokey, but it's well worth investing the time to play. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
1 ★This is a terribly designed app. After closing it (not exiting, closing) it managed to stay functional in the background, play music, and access my internet over 200 times in one night while I slept. Not what I signed up for and it's a mediocre game at best. Don't download this app
3 ★1.Cinematics are kinda slow , for eg. That dot puzzle cinematic kinda waste time. I know it seems like a little problem but most people want to play and finish the game as fast as possible.........2. There should be an auto save each time we complete the film. Besides all these the game is fun to play, music is good, and the theme is also nice touch. Lastly the game crashed on my phone as I was about to complete Level 6 which btw I spend around 30mins to complete.
4 ★I really enjoyed the look to the game. Controls work well and are simplistic. It becomes a little repeatative though and it's a rather short game. But for it being free, you can't beat it. Would highly recommend to fans of platformers.
