Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

2 ★Overall this app does not operate very smoothly, as others have said. However, my greatest issue with the app was the very poor integration of location data. While located in the sacred valley, my nearby list was dominated by species from the madre de dios region. This should be an easy improvement to make, since developers already have ranges of all birds as well as the user's location. Also, the range maps would be better if they showered the users location.
1 ★additional content download is over 1Gb.... connection breaks down and one needs to start the entire process again. there should be a update resume download feature. plus unless you get this additional content you cannot see the app. so i have no idea if things works yet. meanwhile the download is eating my Gb
1 ★Least user friendly app I have on my phone. Takes forever to open and when switching screens. Smart search doesn't work anymore. Needs some serious improvement.
5 ★Great app! Very similar to the book with extra identification tools. Very easy to carry around in the field and having bird sounds with me as a reference to bird call identification is amazing!
1 ★Always crashes when I try to open it.
5 ★It's an excellent app, very helpful when birding
1 ★When I open the app, it says "Runtime Error. ?:0: attempt to index a nilvalue" I need the app now as I leave for Peru in a month and will neverneed it again. Now or never please
5 ★I love this app. It is very handy and useful. Thank you guys for doing agreat work. I am pretty sure that this app is going to improve my birdingskills. Thanks again!
