2 ★dont get it if you have an android, it doesnt play back recordings and doesnt show your "practice sessions" like it does on iPhones. If it were just for the tuner and metronome, then I dont need this app. I literally got this because I was only interested in the practice log type feature that showed your minutes and "in tune-ness"
2 ★This has been my go to tuning app for tuning my flute but as of the recent half year I have experienced lag in the tuner. For example when I play an A and then moved to a G, it will indicate that my A is flat. This will not fix itself and I would have to play again for it to readjust. I'm not sure if this is an issue with the microphone or the app itself but it's very disappointing as I have loved using the app.
3 ★Good app, good functionality. Unfortunately it seems the tuner breaks after having the app for a while. My teacher had the issue when he first showed me this app. Worked fine for about 3 months and now I have the same behaviour. Tuner simply frozen up, maybe once every 30 seconds it will detect audio and give feedback but this only lasts a second or 2 before freezing again. Android both. Known fix: new phone
5 ★Excellent. I use this app for my own practicing and have had my students purchase it. One student (who is on an iPhone) showed me a feature I don't seem to have on my Android-- he could record himself playing and then get a score of what percentage of his notes were in tune. Is this feature only available on Apple devices?
5 ★Alternative temperaments are useful if you play the sort of instruments that need them - but it's fine as a common or garden guitar tuner too!
4 ★Honestly most everything on here is pretty great. The tuning part can hear some of my lower notes on bass trombone, which some apps can't. The metronome can be a bit confusing to use at first, but is otherwise great. Only thing is sometimes the app stops working on my pixel 3xl when an update comes out and it can take a bit for an update to come along and fix it.
5 ★Great tuner and metronome app. Contains all of the functions that I need for practice. The tuner is easy to set down and use for tuning a violin and I like that the metronome includes the standard speeds in the bar at the bottom so I don't have to press + and - as many times.
3 ★I got this app because I saw that my mentor had the app on his iPhone. However, I do not see the practice w/ scoring option on the Android version. Will this function become available on Android devices soon as that was the reason that I had bought the app. Otherwise, the app works very well.
5 ★I have used this app for years as a tuner and for chords.
3 ★The tuning and tone generator functionality is fantastic and works very well, but the metronome visual flash is perceptibly off beat with the audio! I understand that this is probably latency in the Android audio subsystem. This review would be five stars if a compensation setting existed.
3 ★It's good , when it works , but a lot of times it just won't pick up the notes (didn't have this issue at the beginning) . Hope this can be fixed soon. Also , kinda hard to recommend to my students when it's like $6 (it used to be like $3)
5 ★Great app. I wrote that a previous version of this app was crashing a little too often, but the developer has fixed this problem. Also: excellent communication and helpfulness by the developer when the app does have an issue.
