This is the ad-free version of Jesus Art.There are countless works of art depicting Jesus' life spanning almost 2,000 years. Most of the art in this app is from the Renaissance period in Europe, but there are a number of early Christian works from the first millennium AD, illustrated Bible manuscripts from the early part of the second millennium, Byzantine works mainly from 1200-1500, later Eastern Orthodox iconic art, as well as "new" art from the 19th and 20th centuries.
The works of art shown—mostly paintings but also stained glass windows and statues—portray major events in Jesus' life chronologically from the New Testament including all of his miracles as well as the Annunciation, Nativity, "Madonna and Child", Baptism, Temptation, Sermon on the Mount, Entry into Jerusalem, Last Supper, Crucifixion, Resurrection and Ascension.
