El Vía Crucis, también llamado Camino de la Cruz, representa las Estaciones de la Cruz durante la Pasión de Cristo.El Vía Crucis tradicional se compone de 14 estaciones, si bien existen algunas variantes con 15 estaciones, recogiendo la resurrección como una estación más.
En definitiva las estaciones representan las siguientes escenas:
I estación: Jesús es condenado a muerte.
II estación: Jesús con la Cruz a cuestas.
III estación: Jesús cae por primera vez.
IV estación: Jesús se encuentra con su Madre.
V estación: El cirineo ayuda a Jesús a llevar la Cruz.
VI estación: La Verónica enjuga el rostro de Jesús.
VII estación: Jesús cae por segunda vez.
VIII estación: Jesús encuentra a las mujeres de Jerusalén.
IX estación: Jesús cae por tercera vez.
X estación: Jesús es despojado de sus vestiduras.
XI estación: Jesús clavado en la Cruz.
XII estación: Jesús muere en la Cruz.
XIII estación: Jesús es bajado de la Cruz y entregado a su Madre.
XIV estación: Jesús es puesto en el sepulcro.
