নামাজের সহীহ হাদীস জেনে আমরা রাসুল (সা:) এর সালাতের নির্দেশিত বানী মেনে সালাত আদায় করলে (তোমরা আমাকে যে ভাবে সালাত পড়তে দেখ ঠিক সে ভাবে সালাত আদায় কর) সফলতা লাভ করতে পারবো।।ইসলামের পঞ্চ স্তম্ভের অন্যতম হলো নামাজ। ঈমানের পরই মুসলিম উম্মাহর ইসলামের প্রকাশ্য ঘোষণা ও ইবাদত হলো ‘নামাজ’। নামাজের তাগিদ দিয়ে কুরআনে অনেক আয়াত নাজিল হয়েছে। আর পরকালে বান্দার হিসাব-নিকাশের সময় সর্ব প্রথম নামাজের হিসাবই গ্রহণ করা হবে বলে জানিয়েছেন প্রিয়নবি সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম।
অনেক সময় মানুষ ইচ্ছায়-অনিচ্ছায় ওয়াক্ত হওয়ার পরও নামাজ আদায়ে দেরি করে থাকে। এ কারণে প্রিয়নবি সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম যথা সময়ে নামাজ আদায়ের ফজিলত ঘোষণা করেছেন। যাতে হাজারো কর্ম ব্যস্ততার মাঝেও যেন মানুষ নামাজের প্রতি যত্নবান হয়।
প্রথম ওয়াক্তে নামাজ আদায়ে প্রিয়নবি সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম হাদিসে পাকে ফজিলত বর্ণনা করেছেন।
>> হজরত আবদুল্লাহ ইবনে মাসউদ রাদিয়াল্লাহু আনহু থেকে বর্ণিত তিনি বলেন, ‘আমি রাসুলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লামকে জিজ্ঞাসা করলাম, কোন আমল আল্লাহর কাছে অধিক প্রিয়?
প্রিয়নবি সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম বললেন, ‘যথা সময়ে (প্রথম ওয়াক্তে) নামাজ আদায় করা।’
