Description
This is the official conference app for the International Conference on Smart Mobility and Logistics in Future Cities, to be held on 18-20 October 2018 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The app is a one-stop platform for you to access the conference programme, allowing you to view all sessions, speakers and their topics, technical tours on offer, as well as showcase and exhibition information. Your own personal schedule at the conference can be planned using the My Schedule function, to ensure that you do not miss your favourite presentations and events. The QR Connect function allows you to exchange contact information with other delegates at the click of a button. The app also provides the latest updates, if applicable, regarding time and speaker changes, contingency traffic arrangements as well as inclement weather alerts.The International Conference on Smart Mobility and Logistics in Future Cities is co-organized by Institute of Transport Studies at the University of Hong Kong (HKU ITS), The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in Hong Kong (CILTHK) and Transport Department (TD) of the Hong Kong SAR Government. This conference marks the 50th Anniversary of both CILTHK and TD, and the 20th Anniversary of the Master of Arts in Transport Policy and Planning (MATPP) programme at HKU. The event is expected to attract over 400 participants from around the world. It proudly distinguishes itself among others as a concerted, interdisciplinary and multi-sector platform for leading academics, professional experts, and policy-makers across the transport and logistics sectors from around the world to discuss various opportunities and challenges of developing, implementing and enhancing smart mobility and logistics in future cities. This three-day conference features three keynote sessions, more than twenty parallel sessions, industry showcases, exhibitions, and technical tours. We aim to converge the latest innovations worldwide in addressing mobility and logistics issues in smart cities from an interdisciplinary perspective, opening the way for planning accessible, efficient and thus sustainable transportation in the future. It will provide exceptional opportunities for interacting both professionally and socially.
