Calon Pegawai Negeri Sipil (disingkat CPNS) adalah pegawai yang baru lulus tes seleksi penerimaan Calon Pegawai Negeri Sipil tahap pertama.Calon Pegawai Negeri Sipil belum mengikuti kewajiban untuk memenuhi syarat sebagai Pegawai Negeri Sipil dengan gaji 100%.
Mereka digaji dengan persentase sejumlah 80% berdasarkan SK CPNS yang telah ditentukan dengan berpedoman pada undang-undang yang berlaku di Indonesia.
Jika kamu lolos seleksi menjadi PNS dan telah diberikan Surat Keputusan (SK) setelah sebelumnya mengikuti program pra-jabatan, kamu termasuk menjadi ASN. Aparatur Sipil Negara adalah profesi bagi Pegawai Negeri Sipil dan pegawai pemerintah.
Sistem Computer Assisted Test (CAT) adalah metode seleksi menggunakan software dengan alat bantu computer yang digunakan untuk mendapatkan standar minimal kompetensi dasar bagi pelamar CPNS.
