A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★Despite uninstalling / reinstalling the updated app, confirming that my "collection" is accurate, I still cannot actually save any lists I try and create. I can hit the button and nothing happens with anything I do. This is absolute garbage when it comes to trying to use the official app to be prepared. Also, when you build a list, the quick view of the ship cards do not accurately represent red maneuvers.
2 ★The app is nice by letting you track your collection. However, I have not seen how to select the upgrade cards and add them to ships in your squad. Also, the huge epic ships are not on there yet which limits their use in 2.0 for those of us that bought them in 1.0. Rather disappointing that if they constantly release new ships then why hasn't the app been updated since April 2019 and it is now December 2019. The whole thing makes me not want to play the game that I really love and enjoy.
3 ★This is functional. My biggest complaint is that the "my collection" doesn't limit the cards I can choose from. For example, I do not own the "Saws Renegades" expansion yet when building a Rebel squad the crew uogrades ( and probably more I didn't notice) were available. To a casual player who isn't familiar with the all the components of the game this is hugely frustrating. Would love to see this improved. Eitjer intuitively through "my collection" or manually being able to toggle the cards I actually own in the "card database" section. Keep up the good work. X-Wing is an exceptional game that I have been with since the beginning that I'm sure will continue to get better.
5 ★This is a great way to create and track your lists. Sure, every update comes with some glitches but so do most apps. It's nice to have a product that is free and comes from an official source. Some people may be trying to brute force their way through the app but working within the constraints set by FFG can kind of help to figure out how things are supposed to work. Example: on a no upgrades X-wing, try equiping Daredevil. After, equip closed S-foils and try again.
3 ★I'm still waiting for this to wow me. The nice thing is, its official. As point costs and what not get updated, we get immediate access, which is nice. But that comes at a cost... this app as of right now is online only. No interwebs, no squad building. That stinks. I have an issue currently where if I view certain cards, the app will get stuck. There will be no red x in the top right, and i can't back out of the card view. I have to force close the app and restart. Also, when are we getting ship dials in app?
1 ★Very disappointed with this app. I would expect the app to NOT allow me to build a squad with cards I DON"T have! Does NOT saves squads that I create. Does NOT grey out cards when you build with more than you should have (based on entry into My Collect). How do you get basic things like that wrong which are standard on 3rd party apps for Xwing 1.0? You really need to lift your game FFG!
2 ★Update 11/22/18- All of these issues still remain. This app seems like it was put together in a week. When you force an app/website on your customer base then you might want to actually put some quality time into it. 1) What's the point of collections when it doesn't limit you to only what you have? 2) I have to edit a saved squad to be able to read what the attached upgrades say. 3) I currently can't save any additional squads to the two squads that I have. 4) It allows you to exceed 200 points without a warning or keeping you from doing so. I understand that there may be homebrew games that want to exceed 200 points but that should be in a "custom" game mode or at least give a warning in the other game modes. Side note: I am still salty that Fang Fighter Fenn Rau is basically DOA. It's hard to justify a 4 hull ace starting out at 68 points (34 points for 1.0 scale) especially when it is a 12 point jump from Old Teroch at 56 points. I could maybe swallow 64 points (32 points for 1.0 scale) for Fenn Rau.
1 ★Really bad app. It's dependent on data connection so it's unusable in some locations. They also omit important pieces of information such as maneuver dials of ships, obstacle selection, and bomb effects. It is billed as THE go-to source for list construction but it is, at best, a complimentary tool after you've gathered all the necessary (and more accurate) information from multiple other sources.
2 ★The app is required for building a list and is pretty ok for determining what is allowed, however there are recurring issues. A few things that can be improved upon: Firstly, their are no promts when exiting or leaving a list in progress, resulting in loss of saved work! A text prompt such as "would you like to save/exit" would be a professional touch. Similarly, a new list will also randomly delete a previously saved list. Not really satisfied with this app until these issues are resolved.
3 ★Considering this app is supposed to be a major part of the X-Wing Second Edition experience, I'm pretty disappointed. The app appears to have been rushed out, and there are glaring coding errors such as "/Italic" appearing on screen where text is supposed to be in italics. On attempting to build a squad, if you want to see the ships card, you have to open an info box displaying all the info on the card before being able to tap a button to show you the card. Seems a bit pointless. Adding a title to a ship, for example adding the Marauder title to the Firespray, doesn't add the extra upgrade slots. The variable points cost for some upgrades show as '0' even when added to a ship. The standard points costs for some upgrades such as Proton Torps shows as '0'. Saving a squad works fine... until you create a new squad and try to save it, at which point the app saves over your first squad with the new one. Overall, it's not great. In fact, some of the fan-made squad builders work better.
2 ★Please, in the name of all things decent, put the dials in the app. It might actually be good if that one thing is changed. When your building a ship, it gives you the option to view that ships card even though you can see all the info that's on the card in the standard build view so what's the point it's just redundant. Replace that card view with a dial view and then we would finally be able to build a list in the app.
2 ★It's... Not good. Please, please, FFG, don't leave it like this. You need to sit down with a UX consultant and go through this app with a fine toothed comb. The best way I can sum up its problems is that currently, I'd far prefer to go to YASB, design my squadron there where it's snappier, more responsive, and the information is more readily available - and then once I've settled on a squad, draw it up in to the FFG app. It's literally that bad. Your fans deserve better - please get it sorted.
