5 ★This is an AI app that takes the place of a dungeon master in a traditional pen 'n paper RPG. It is not a a game in and of itself. You need to have the boardgame "Mansions of Madness" 2nd edition by FFG in order to use it. For what it is designed for it does a great job, and you can't beat the price!
1 ★Worked great until I started buying digital games. It won't sync across my phone and tablet (all android). I have 3 devices, all on the same google account, all with different digital content on them.
4 ★good app, but it lacks translation to dlcs. Portuguese isn't available yet (only for main story and expansions, not for paid dlc) and I can understand the irony of asking for translation while I'm writing this in English.
5 ★Honesty ive played a lot of board games and this tops the list of them all. up there with the greatest ever and i cannot recommend this board game enough to anyone that enjoys anything within the Lovecraft, haunted mansion exploring, suspense driven storyline style of game. 10/10
4 ★I love the game and this app works very well. The primary thing I would like to see added is casting ability. Displaying on my tv while interacting with my tablet would be the best!
1 ★This is a mobile phone game with a supporting board, cards and miniatures at a very expensive extra cost. Very disappointed with this. We stopped playing after 5 minutes (not to mention the 30 minutes setup and reading through the rules) as we were wanting to do a board game and not stare at a tiny screen for hours. Was even more frustrating that there isn't a back button on the app either. Can't really express my level of disappointment with this board game purchase.
4 ★App is good to support game. Two improvements would be if you have a multicard drop to show all cards in pictures on the prompt. Also quick reference in game rules in game for example the word range could be able to be tapped to show whats considered in range
1 ★Once it gets to the screen that says 'This application requires the board game' it just stays there looping the background music. There aren't any buttons, or anything else to indicate what to do, and when I tried tapping all over the screen anyway to see what would happen, it didn't do anything.
1 ★The app continually crashes while at the Loading Assets screen. Ive given it the permissions it asked for, tried restarting my phone, reinstalling, etc, but it wont work. As of yet, I havent found any help in searching, just folks with problems mid-game, and a big, unhelpful bug report dump thread. Can't play my game without it. Very irritated.
2 ★1. On combat, there needs to be separate buttons added "pass" / "fail", to choose from after rolling. 2. Voice actor needs to used more during game play 3. Puzzles and puzzle rolls rolls need to be rethought completely. It may take 5 rounds to solve in some games
4 ★This is a great accompanying app for the board game. The only thing that would make this app perfect would be some more voice-overs for some real immersion.
