Selamat Datang di SMAN 2 Pandeglang.Sekolah yang berdiri sekitar tahun 1995 ini merupakan sekolah menengah atas ke dua di kota Pandeglang yang dulunya adalah bangunan SMPP atau Sekolah Menengah Pertanian Pembangunan yang telah di hibahkan kepada PEMDA Pandeglang yang sekarang telah beroperasi sebagai SMAN 2 Pandeglang.
Banyak sudah Prestasi yang telah dicapai oleh Siswa dan Siswi bahkan pada tarap internasional, dan telah melahirkan segudang atlit yang berprestasi, sekolah inipun sudah ter Akretitasi oleh BANPT Dengan Grade “A” dan nilai 90.
Tidak hanya sampai disitu SMAN 2 Pandeglang juga menjadi salah satu sekolah Rujukan Nasional dan Percontohan banyak UNIVERSITAS di Indonesia yang sudah melakukan kerjasama dengan sekolah ini.
Siswa dan Siswi SMAN 2 Pandeglang sangatlah mudah jika ingin melanjutkan ke jenjang perguruan tinggi karena alumni SMAN 2 Pandeglang sudah banyak yang ditrima di Universitas-Universitas Negeri di Indonesia Mulai dari UI, UGM, UNPAD, ITB, IPB, UNILA dan masih banyak lainya.
