Turn your Android phone or Tablet into a music controller for Sony's "HomeShare"(*) products.Access your personal music collection and play it on Sony's network audio products located anywhere in your home, wirelessly.
Each Sony network audio product can playback a separate song and be controlled independently. Or when enjoying Sony "HomeShare" products throughout your home, you can synchronize music playback with "Party Streaming".
* "HomeShare" is marketing name of Sony Network Audio products. This name may not be used in some regions/countries.

2 ★Having owned a number of sony homeshare products (NAS 510 & 410, STR-DN 1030) for a few years there is no longer any Internet connectivity to Sony Music Unlimited or Vtuner. Where is the support from Sony for previous systems?
1 ★It will not load all tracks of the selected album. This was so good and is now useless. Sony is a good product but this is now a disaster. It's useless.
1 ★If you have not Android 4.4 do not install it, the app is not able more to see all the music files, it hangs without never complete the listing and does not show all the files.
3 ★Sony is quite poor at creating apps for anything and this is no exception. There are electronic manufacturers out there that lead in this space.....
3 ★Not at par with the reputation the brand Sony carries. Needs update. Should provide option to tune in and preset FM from app itself. Equalizer control can also be incorporated. Not very useful for music systems which require a TV set for accessing all controls, those controls can be provided on app itself. Using the app for Sony HT IV 300.
2 ★*PLEASE UPDATE the app!!!* Love getting most utility from Sony SA-NS500 as network speakers & WDTV live hub media server. Pl update: Ability to i) rate song upto 5 stars ii) add to playlist from onscreen play iii) delete from playlist/library/server, while listening, iv) change favorites limited from 100 songs only, v) add Now Playing button, vi) make smart playlist within the App and allow ability to export those playlist. Sony, Pl take care of these features for 5 stars! Alternative app: BubbleUPnP is excellent but they lack party stream support.

1 ★Sony has excelled at creating an instant obsolete app/support for its supposed to be top of the range sonos like product! This app is fleamsy to say the least, unreliable at best, unable to stay connected to a media server etc... I spent a fortune buying the Sony top of the range wireless speakers (ns510 and ns310) and a dlna bluray player, with in mind to listen to music wherever and whenever in my house. How wrong was I! This app no longer support the Sony Entertainment System, and even Vtuner! Rubbish!
1 ★It works fine except for being lacking any option to acfually stream/ play a song. I guess that's the loyalty we deserve back ...with no updates since 2014.
1 ★Please allow Spotify to run on this app now that music unlimited has gone. I have the sa-ns510 speaker.
2 ★Cannot list music with an apostrophe ( ' ) in the title, it just duplicates the following song. Nice idea but needs work to compete with other DLNA apps.
1 ★It sees my music collection on the NAS, it sees the Sony SA-NS310. I can add tracks from my music to a playlist, but this only works for MP3 files I have downloaded from Amazon. It won't work for any of my OGG files. The interface's ergonomy is terrible. But I could just about live with that if the device would just play my music.
