Description
CLIMB Ferrara e' un app mobile per i volontari del Piedibus del Comune di Ferrara.Permette di gestire le varie attività del servizio (turni dei volontari, itinerari e fermate, presenze giornaliere dei bambini, contatti dei genitori). Inoltre permette ai bambini in possesso di dispositivi di prossimità di effettuare il check in automatico.
I Piedibus sono “autobus" che si muovono a piedi formati da una carovana di bambini che ogni mattina vanno a scuola in gruppo, accompagnati da almeno due adulti, un “autista” davanti ed un “controllore” in fondo, che chiude la fila. Il Piedibus parte da un punto prefissato e si ferma alle varie fermate, “raccogliendo” i passeggeri e seguendo un orario prestabilito. I bambini possono in questo modo recarsi a scuola in compagnia, conoscere meglio il proprio territorio e fare del movimento, ma con la sicurezza di due accompagnatori adulti.
Le tecnologie al servizio della mobilità indipendente dei bambini messe in campo dal progetto CLIMB vertono attualmente sul servizio di “Piedibus”. Per il supporto al Piedibus, sono state sviluppate le seguenti tecnologie:
- Questa App mobile per i volontari della “linea” del Piedibus permette di gestire le varie attività del servizio (gestione dei turni di volontari, sostituzione itinerari, presenze giornaliere dei bambini,…)
- Dispositivi intelligenti per i bambini che permettono di registrare la presenza dei bambini/passeggeri e dei volontari alle fermate e durante il cammino del Piedibus. Tali dispositivi, integrati con l’applicazione mobile, permettono di automatizzare a raccolta di informazioni sui bambini che prendono parte al Piedibus per ogni singolo giorno e per ciascuna fermata.
