Description

nds4droid is a free Nintendo DS emulator. It is still in it's infancy but supports many features you'd expect like save states and sound. It also supports the OUYA game console.

The nds4droid FAQ can be found here: http://jeffq.com/blog/nds4droid-faq/

Unlike other DS emulators nds4droid does not not violate the GPL, and it's completely open source.

Unfortunately, Nintendo DS emulation is still somewhat slow, even on higher end phones, but we'll continue to make improvements :). If you're having trouble with performance, try different "frame skip" options.

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

3 ★Works extremely well, the only issue I'm having is that on Pokémon black your Pokémon don't gain any experience?
5 ★I like the app so much.Really appreciated. Not all play store app has that capability. Hope that everyone will see that too. Do visit everyone NDS emulator. You will see the best of it.I am extremely satisfied. It won't make any problem to your device.Thank you.
3 ★lags quite a bit,and finding the roms on my device is tricky, but its free and works.
4 ★This is great for playing Pokemon! You can adjust the rate of frame skip if your device needs it, it plays the audio beautifully as well. It features an autosave feature that you can customize the frequency of as well. The only knock I have is the app will randomly crash from time to time. Happened to me early on and I just started saving on a regular basis. For those playing Poke the crash is rather predictable. Usually only when applying an item to a Pokemon. The rest is all good!
2 ★Good emulator but just keeps crashing. Unreliable so uninstalling.
2 ★It has glitches it's slow . For my opinion it's poor emulator.
5 ★(47) This (android) DS emulator isn't the fastest (25% speed for me, no matter what settings I use), but it's free, no ads, & open source. Also, I haven't had any problems with any games. I do wish that it was updated & not abandoned, but the others are just a bunch of ad stuffed, expensive wannabes.
4 ★Great app, the roms launch well, the previous crashing issues I had were resolved, fun fact, the app will still scan for roms that are in a .zip files, and trying to launch them will crash the app, to be fair you should unzip them but the app should show them or tell you it can't run them tho... Also yeah, the sound is... oof, tweaked the sound a lot, there's no hope for it, just gotta put your own music over it cause well... it's not gonna work
5 ★The best emulator for Android, it works so smoothly and all of it's pros (free, no ads, runs smoothly 90% of the time) absolutely outweigh the cons (occasional crashes). I would definitely recommend it. I don't know why there are so many one star reviews. I think it runs really well.
5 ★Works pretty well, the only thing I'd wish for would be a haptic feedback option that actually works (maybe my fault if it's technically available, but my other emulator (GBA) makes it work so idk) and a speedplay 2x option. Other options like skipping frames and the loading etc are very well executed. Seems to me like the only DS Emulator App that does the job for me. Thank you for this app.
3 ★I would like to say it is very good and usefull but it has a problem when ever i open it it starts from starting and my saved file is lost and i have to all that again if you will fix its glitches crashes properly i would rate it 5 stars
3 ★Back when I had a Galaxy Core Prime, this emulator was by far the best option I could go for. No ads, smooth gameplay, though with some weird sound desync. I now have this on my Honor 8x and... it's just not the same... If you have an older phone, DEFINITELY use this app. It soars above all others. But if you have a newer model... You're not so lucky. Low fps now plagues the app after my phone updated. But I will tolerate it due to how bad other emulators are.
