The Offroad Precision App is available for the new Cayenne models (model year 2018). The compass display option is a prerequisite for using the App.

Find out everything you need to know about off-road driving before you set off on your trip. For example, you can learn how best to prepare for a trip and how to behave on an off-road track.
Record your off-road trip:
Use your smartphone to record your route while driving and to record videos and photos, including the relevant vehicle data. Secure your smartphone in a holder designed for this purpose on the windshield and start recording. A smartphone holder is not included in the scope of supply from Porsche.
Capture moments:
Capture moments when something special or adventurous happens while you are recording and link them with videos and photos. Alternatively, let the App capture moments for you automatically from the vehicle data while you are recording.
Create a highlight video:
After you have finished recording, a highlight video is created automatically from the captured moments. You can easily edit your highlight video by adding more videos and photos. It doesn't matter whether you recorded them with your own smartphone, the smartphone of a friend or an external camera.
Share your experience with friends and family through social networking sites.
Trip summary:
See a summary of your off-road adventure on your smartphone as soon as you've completed your trip. Analyze the distance driven, the recorded video with animated vehicle data and your graphically illustrated vehicle data.
