“iM Guide” is a museum mobile multimedia guide platform. Visitors can have a deeper understanding on exhibits through text, audio, video and multimedia contents. Indoor navigation technique and outdoor Global Positioning System (GPS) provide locations of exhibits and facilities, such as toilets and baby care room, and navigation service. The “iM Guide” is at this stage applied to the Hong Kong Science Museum, the Hong Kong Space Museum, Dr Sun Yat-sen Museum, the Hong Kong Museum of Coastal Defence, the Hong Kong Railway Museum as well as the navigation and introduction of 16 spots along the Dr Sun Yat-sen Historical Trail.
