Description

Gloomhaven Helper is the officially licensed companion app for playing the Gloomhaven board game and the Forgotten Circles and Jaws of the Lion expansions, without losing the board game feel. It tracks initiative, monsters, and players so you can focus on playing the game rather than bookkeeping. Playing the game becomes faster, as does setup and tear down.

Gloomhaven Helper eliminates the need for the following Gloomhaven components:

• monster ability card decks
• monster stat sheets and sleeves
• the monster attack modifier deck
• monster damage tokens
• monster and player condition tokens
• the element infusion board, element discs, and round tracker
• player HP/XP dials
• character boards

Besides making setup easier, Gloomhaven Helper also improves play in many new ways:

• Devices running the app can be synchronized over the network so each player can view and change the game state from their own personal device.
• Rows are sorted using the initiative order, making it clear who is next.
• Monster abilities report the numbers to use, reducing stat lookup (Range 3 instead of Range -1).
• When a monster is flying, the monster ability card shows the "flying wings" icon for movement rather than the usual "boot".
• Monsters can be marked as "summoned" so you know they should not drop a coin when they die.
• Monster stats are hidden until the monster appears.
• Tracking element infusions prevents forgeting to move the element down.
• Player current and max HP is easily visible to all players.

5 ★Perfect assistant! Gloomhaven is massive, space can be an issue, the amount it helps with token and status management is undeniable. Tracking enemy health and attacks and you end up saving so much space and the game plays that much faster.

5 ★makes the game so much easier, only enhancement that jumps to mind is to turn off characters for some senarios, as sometime just 2 of us play rather than the normal 4, and deleting to have re-add just seems silly. But wouldn't play without this

1 ★Hard to see! This does the job, but to use on your phones...its very difficult to see due to the UI font being so small. Dev response - Live with it. Other similar apps can do the same thing with a better UI and be visible, why can't this one?

4 ★EDIT: Does not work on Android TV which sucks but otherwise a really good app. Incredible quality app and pretty damn easy to use. Pretty much a must-have for Gloomhaven. I hope these guys also create a Frosthaven version as well.
