Description

What are the distinctive features of Buddhism? Who was the Buddha, and what are his teachings? Words such as "karma" and "nirvana" have entered our vocabulary, but what do they mean?

Buddhism is a religion to about 300 million people around the world. The word comes from 'budhi', 'to awaken'. It has its origins about 2,500 years ago when Siddhartha Gotama, known as the Buddha, was himself awakened (enlightened) at the age of 35.

Buddhism explains a purpose to life, it explains apparent injustice and inequality around the world, and it provides a code of practice or way of life that leads to true happiness.

Buddhism Guide offers you a superb overview of the teachings of the Buddha, as well as a succinct guide to the integration of Buddhism into daily life.

Buddhism Guide provides new perspectives on Buddhist thought, including up-to-date material about the evolution of Buddhism throughout Asia, the material culture of Buddhism and its importance, new teachings on the ethics of war and peace, and changes to ethnicity, class, and gender.

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

User's Reivew

4 ★It's such a shame that there are ads, so inappropriate when learning Buddhism. The ad space sometimes covers text as well. I would gladly pay for an ad-free version.
5 ★Very well put together content with easy navigation.
1 ★Anti-Buddhism propoganda. The author starts out this text clinically in nature to earn the readers trust, but later on inserts copious amounts of personal conjecture as fact. Author also hashes over the rudimentary fundamentals of Buddhas teachings with seemingly tolerable accuracy, but dedicates far more time and text to explanations of negative concepts like; the cyclic nature of the universe, death, not being reborn again, hell and torture, etc so forth. Obviously trying to depress readers...
3 ★Too complex for a non buddhist. P
