Esta aplicación va dirigida al ámbito educativo, para que puedan adaptar de forma sencilla espacios i materiales a alumnos con baja visión.Localitzat es un lector de código QR con reconocimiento de texto y síntesis de voz integrada. Lo cual facilita la orientación del alumno en el entorno escolar o familiar y de forma fácil, puesto que la creación de etiquetas QR se puede realizar desde cualquier web gratuita. Sólo hay que escribir la descripción del espacio o material donde va a ir la etiqueta QR, darle a generar código y descargar e imprimir la etiqueta.
Entonces cuando el alumno se acerque con la aplicación a una etiqueta y le dé al botón “Escanear”, ésta le dirá en voz alta el espacio donde se encuentra o el material que ha cogido, mostrando a la vez la descripción en texto con la mida de letra que al alumno con baja visión le vaya mejor.
Este sistema también permite crear material pedagógico como: cuentos, explicaciones de clase, indicativos de cada aula, agendas, etc… Además, como el código QR permite incrustar imágenes, podemos crear etiquetas con pictogramas, facilitando así el feedback auditivo a alumnos con TEA o parálisis cerebral.
Ventajas:
• La aplicación es compatible con todos los dispositivos Android,
• Se nutre de la síntesis de voz de cada dispositivo,
• Como las etiquetas se crean fácilmente por Internet, no hay límite ni coste alguno,
• La posibilidad de integrar imágenes al código permite utilizar pictogramas,
• Esto hace que la utilización de la aplicación se pueda ampliar a más tipos de discapacidad además de alumnos con baja visión,
• Los botones también incluyen feedback auditivo.
