Ali Saleh Mohammed Ali Jaber atau yang lebih dikenal dengan Syekh Ali Jaber adalah salah seorang imam di masjid Nabawi, Pendakwah dan Ulama berkewarganegaraan Indonesia. Ia juga menjadi juri pada Hafiz Indonesia.
Kehidupan pribadi
Syekh Ali Jaber Lahir di Kota Madinah Munawarah Saudi Arabia 3 Shafar 1396 H / 03 pebruari 1976 M. Sejak kecil Ali Jaber telah menekuni membaca Al-Quran. Ayahnyalah yang awalnya memotivasi Ali Jaber untuk belajar Al-Quran. Dalam mendidik agama, khususnya Al-Quran dan shalat, ayahnya sangat keras, bahkan tidak segan-segan memukul bila Ali Jaber kecil tidak menjalankan shalat. Ini implementasi dari hadis Nabi Muhammad SAW yang membolehkan memukul anak bila di usia tujuh tahun tidak melaksanakan shalat fardhu. Keluarganya dikenal sebagai keluarga yang religius.
Di Madinah ia memiliki masjid besar yang digunakan untuk syiar Islam. Sebagai anak pertama dari dua belas bersaudara, Ali Jaber dituntut untuk meneruskan perjuangan ayahnya dalam syiar Islam.
Meski pada awalnya apa yang ia jalani adalah keinginan sang ayah, lama-kelamaan ia menyadari itu sebagai kebutuhannya sendiri. Tidak mengherankan, di usianya yang masih terbilang belia, sebelas tahun, ia telah hafal 30 juz Al-Qur’an, Sejak itu pula Syaikh Ali memulai berdakwah mengajarkan ayat-ayat Allah SWT di masjid tersebut, kemudian belanjut ke masjid lainnya. Selama di Madinah, ia juga aktif sebagai guru tahfizh Al-Qur’an di Masjid Nabawi dan menjadi imam shalat di salah satu masjid kota Madinah.
