روش واژگان کلیدی (Keyword Method) که در سال ۱۹۷۵ و ایجاد شده است (در ایران به اسم کدینگ مشهور است)، یک تکنیک دو مرحله ای برای یادگیری واژگان بیگانه می باشد. در اولین گام، زبان اموز باید لغت بیگانه را با یک کلیدواژه مربوط سازد (از لحاظ آوایی و ...) و در گام دوم با تصویر سازی مناسب باید بتواند ارتباط بین دو کلمه را ایجاد کند.-گاهی با شکستن یک کلمه می توان به قسمتی آشنا رسید که به خاطر سپردن ان کلمه را برای ما راحت می کند و گاهی نیز با اضافه کردن بخشی به ان. گاهی کلمه مورد نظر شبیه به کلمه ای در زبان مادری یا گویش های ترکی، لری، شمالی… می باشد که ما را در به خاطر سپردن ان کلمه کمک می کند. البته می توان گاهی مثال های خنده دار و طنز و عجیب نیز از کلمه ی مورد نظر ایجاد کرد. پیدا کردن الگوهای جذابی که کلمه مورد نظر را در ذهن ما حک کند اساس این روش است! نتیجه کار شگفت انگیز است! لغاتی که به این روش به خاطر سپرده شود هرگز تا سالیان سال فراموش نخواهند شد! این مجموعه برای تمامی افراد با هر سطح زبانی که از روش های معمولی کلافه شده اند یا قصد شرکت در ازمون های تافل، کارشناسی ارشد و … را دارند به شدت توصیه می شود.
