Description

Start playing your favorite songs today with the all-new, official Loog Guitar app. Loog is a line of small, 3-string guitars designed to make it fun and easy for anyone to play music. With the Loog Guitar learning app, children and beginners can access easy-to-follow video lessons that will take them from tuning, strumming and forming chords, all the way to playing songs by The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran and more.

The Loog Guitar app was designed with children in mind, and that’s why we structured it as a games in which little monsters help kids form chords, those chords unlock songs, and those songs unlock a whole new world of awesome :)

Features:

TUNER
The Loog Guitar app not only includes a tuner, but it comes with a friendly little monster that teaches you how to use it.

VIDEO LESSONS
7 short and simple video-lessons by Grammy award winner Tim Kubart. Learn all the basic skills needed to start playing songs on your Loog: chords, strumming, rhythm and common chord-progressions.
Perfect for children and beginners, even those who never picked up a guitar.

PLAY-ALONG SONGBOOK
Learn to play songs from your favorite artists, including:
• Beatles
• Rolling Stones
• Taylor Swift
• Bruno Mars and more!

AUGMENTED REALITY
Learn to play chords using the selfie camera! Through this feature you'll see a mirrored image of yourself and dots showing where to place your fingers in order to play chords.

DRUMMER
The Loog Guitar app includes a monster drummer to help you stay on the beat while you practice. Hey, you are already in a band!

GAMES
This section will teach you music fundamentals while you play and have fun! There's a fill-in-the-blanks game for you to complete chords (great for ear-training and building memory), a Simon-like game that you can play by tapping on the screen or on your Loog guitar (instead of random sounds and lights, you see a fretboard with the real placement of notes) and more.

Get your Loog, download this app and start playing your favorite songs today!

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★Not working! The Apps keeps freezing every 15 seconds and there is absolutely no part of it that works properly!!! It is very dissapointing not being able to use the app to learn the instrument after paying 100 euros for it. I am sorry I bought your product, I should have known better.
1 ★I am so so so sad that this app crashes constantly on my Android phone and my husband's. It seems to work fine on a friend's iPhone. Please please please get your Android app fixed, because the iphone one seems really useful.
1 ★Non responsive app. Not expected in 2020
1 ★Great idea. Terrible execution.
1 ★App crashes when you try to do most things. Laggy when playing the games so it thinks you fail when you don't and ends the game. Can't play any songs - just crashes the app. Never get credit on the daily checklist for doing things. Went through the 7 lessons - is that it? Not very intuitive - I can't figure how everything works. Directions would be nice or suggestions on what to practice. Feel like I spent a lot on a guitar because I thought the app would really help. I've gone looking elsewhere
2 ★The tuner doesn't work at all, even though other tuning apps work fine on my phone. The game is a phone game, not even using the loog. Since the app apparently can't pick up audio correctly it won't let me play the songs because you have to demonstrate that you can play the cords correctly before it will unlock the song. The only thing the app is good for is looking up chords.
2 ★So much potential but poorly designed from a software standpoint. What that means is that the app would be great if it didn't lag and sputter (or just crashing). I would love this app is it did what it set out to do without all these behind the scenes hiccups. I want to mention that I'm a software developer with Android experience so I know when it's just poorly written software.
2 ★Pretty bummed. I purchased this guitar specifically because this app was supposed to teach my girl what she needed to know, but it doesn't work at all unless you just want to dress up your avatar. I'm not a musician and don't even know where to start to find an app where she can learn to play a 3-string guitar. I can't even tune the thing. This was her only birthday gift, and it's a frustrating dud.
3 ★Just bought the Loog mini for my son, really impressed with the quality and build. The app works mainly, except it keeps crashing on my Galaxy S10 when I try to run the backing tracks. Also, the chord diagrams could have been bigger, more attention seems to be focused on the monsters, but the design is great.
3 ★Love the concept... and i know this is probably hard to hear but id suggest starting over. Hire another app-studio with a proven track record, and also reconsider the whole monster thing. You're onto something, but I'd hope this iteration is juat a stepping stone to a much better experience in the future.
2 ★I wish I could say this app worked well. I "Kickstarted" the new electric Loog with the hope that this app was going to vault me into the world of playing the guitar. All it's basically done is made me look for another app that I can learn how to play with (along with the 3 stringed Loog). @Rafael - you need to do a better job with this one - your supporters are waiting...
1 ★Looks great, idea is great, but the app does nothing but crash. One of the reasons we got this guitar for our daughter was because of the accompanying app. Turns out that we just wasted money on a good idea (guitar/app working together) that falls very short.
