Die App „Prüfung Metall 2.0“ ist eine Weiterentwicklung der bisherigen Prüfungs-App des Verlags Europa-Lehrmittel. Auch die neue App enthält Fragen aus Büchern des Verlags. Auf vielfachen Kundenwunsch kann die Zahl der Fragen in der neuen Version durch Ergänzungsmodule auf bis zu 1.770 Aufgaben erhöht werden.Die App „Prüfung Metall 2.0“ enthält Prüfungsaufgaben zur Vorbereitung auf Klassenarbeiten und Prüfungen in den Metallberufen. Schon die kostenlose Basis-App umfasst 50 ausgewählte Aufgaben zum Ausprobieren aus den Bereichen Technologie, Technische Mathematik und WiSo, die nach dem Gratis-Download sofort zum Lernen genutzt werden können.
Alle Fragen können im „Übungsmodus“ sowie im „Prüfungsmodus“ bearbeitet werden. Im Übungsmodus sucht man sich Aufgaben zu bestimmten Themen aus, bearbeitet diese und bekommt direktes Feedback sowie bei Bedarf Unterstützung. Auf Wunsch können auch sogenannte „Boxen“ genutzt werden, ein digitales Lernkartensystem. Dadurch werden Inhalte, die man bereits beherrscht, seltener abgefragt, so dass der Nutzer sich auf die Themen konzentrieren kann, die noch Schwierigkeiten bereiten.
Im Prüfungsmodus bearbeitet man die Fragen – ähnlich wie in einer richtigen Prüfung oder Klassenarbeit – ohne Hilfsmittel innerhalb einer bestimmten Zeit. Danach erhält der Nutzer eine Note (1 bis 5) und die Rückmeldung, ob die Prüfung bestanden ist.
