Description
This is the free trial version of "Mental arithmetic by ear". It allows you to evaluate whether the app fits to your needs and if you would like to purchase the full version. The trail is limited to 10 test runs. Thus, up to 300 tasks will be generate for your testing purposes:This trainer supports you in inproving your mental arithmetic skills. You need to listen to the tasks instead of having them visualized.
Mental arithmetic by ear supports 5 levels of difficulty; Starting in 'Simple', which is applicable for kids at elementary school and continuously reaching 'Really Difficult' which shall be a challange even for adults.
Pass the test to unlock additional levels of difficulty or do a training to be listed on the highscore! I've developed this app for kids. Therefore it does not require any special permissions and is executable even offline. I do not like apps for kids with ads or any hidden costs. Therefore "Mental arithmetic by ear" is just requesting a single and small charge for installation of the full version. No additional charges will be requested at any time, nor will it contain any adverts.
Manual:
Select your name or type it if it was not present jet so that both your progress and highscores will be assigned to you.
Touch the stars to select one of the 5 levels of difficulty.
Start the test to unlock additional levels
Start a training for practice or to get listet in the highscore-table!
Mode "Test"
* 10 Tasks will be read to you in a row. You shall input your answer within 30 seconds.
* Each task will be repeating exactly once after 10 seconds.
* Type the correct answer by using the optimized keyboard
* Once you are sure, hit 'OK' to log your answer
* The result will be presented once you have provided all answers.
* To pass the test you need to have at least 8 correct answers were each type of calculation is contained at least once.
Mode "Training"
* Up to 30 Tasks will be presented.
* Provide an answer of the first tasks within 30 seconds, the seconds answer within 29 seconds, etc. ...
* The training ends if the available time of a task was exceeded.
* Each answer will be rated with points (positive Points for correct, negative points for incorrect answers)
* The value of each tasks is calculated on the basis of unused time: The faster you are the more points you get!
* The highscore-list is capable of 10 Places.
Levels of difficulty:
* Simple (approx. grade 3)
-> Addition / Subtraction up to 18,
-> Multiplication / Division without rest of the multiplaction tables 1, 2 and 3.
* Medium (approx. grade 3-4)
-> Addition / Subtraction of two-digit numbers without Overflow,
-> Multiplication / Division without rest of all multiplaction tables from 1 to 10
* Quite Difficulty (approx. grade 4-5)
-> Addition / Subtraction of two two-digit numbers with overflow.
-> Multiplication / Division including rest up to 10 times 20.
* Difficult (approx. grade 5-6)
-> Addition / Subtraction of any two-digit number with any three-digit number,
-> Multiplikation / Division including rest up to 20 times 20.
* Really Difficult (grade 6+)
-> Addition / Subtraction of two three-digit numbers,
-> Multiplication / Division up to 99 times 99.
