1 ★Constantly intrusive pop up ads. Sometimes, when I play it, even when an ad doesn't appear the web browser opens to one of those Amazon giveaway scams. This has only happened since I downloaded this app and only when I'm playing it, so I'm almost certain it's from this app. Will be uninstalling and would not recommend to anyone.
3 ★There are times when everything works fine, but inevitably, swapping becomes a problem. The app goes black; you close out, come back in and then you aren't allowed to swap anything -- so there you sit with nothing but vowels or nothing but consanents. Tired of it and finally uninstalled.
1 ★Love playing Scrabble, but the pop-ups ads are way too much! More often and obnoxious than any game I've played. Takes all the fun out of it! I am surprised Scrabble would put their name behind this nonsense. Also, I was tricked into paying 99 cents for no more ads. It was not clear that this meant no more ads for only 24 hours! I was duped.
4 ★Good game, lots of ads - understandable. But please make it an option to turn off all the animations - I am so tired of watching all the levelups, unwrapping of the stickers and all other rewards, and make the results of the tournaments auto-accept. This is tiring.
1 ★Horrible. Tons of ads and dumb add ons that make it horrible to play. Every move ypu make is either followed with an ad or a pop up of chests and challenges and game modes or whatever. The stupid computer acts like it's a real person so it takes forever to take its turn. If you just want to play scrabble, this app will lead to nothing but frustration.
1 ★Poorly disguised ad farm. Every turn you'll need to watch an ad. Want to use a power up? Ads. Want to change menus? Ad. Collecting level experience? Ad. There are multiple ad banners baked into the game too! And sometimes the ad will just roll when nothing has happened. Its ads all the way down
5 ★It's Scrabble. If you enjoy Scrabble, you will enjoy Scrabble 🤷♀️. It's a lot of fun, I enjoy that you can play several games at once. That way you're not staring at the screen waiting for your opponent to finish their turn. It's neat that you don't have to finish your game in one sitting, you can exit out and come back to where you left off.
1 ★The ads on this app are insane. I only installed it to play my brother in law, while he's deployed. One of the current ads keeps opening an spoof Amazon site automatically in my browser. To get rid of ads, they want you to pay a subscription that's higher than some streaming services. Not worth it to play a couple casual games with family. So unfortunately, I'm going to have to tell my family I'm done, because I just can't handle ads constantly highjacking my phone.
3 ★Loved it the first couple of weeks. Got to the duels and the game kept freezing up during my turn not allowing me to submit my words and lose the game. During my plays I would get all vowels or letters you can't possibly make a work out of. I also noticed that pictures of the players were the same but the names were changing. After a month I really just felt like I was constantly playing against a computer that you're never meant to win.
5 ★Much more than the boardgame of my youth. Choose to play against your friends, or compete with :(singly or multi- player) opponents to match your level of competence, as you go. Playing builds your profile to give to you access to better level opponents, custom tiles, and more word games, even tournaments. I love the ability to play several games at once- no waiting for an opponent who is stuck in contemplation. I've also come to appreciate a truly great support staff.
3 ★Not bad but the random generator could be improved Sometimes it will give only consonants or only vowels. Over and over. When that happens the opponent will usually agree. So we cancel the game and start over. Sometimes it's fine. Overall a good game.
1 ★I don't know how people can play this game. Screen freezes and stays frozen many times every 10 or 20 seconds. Ads after every turn, if you're lucky you'll get to go twice before seeing an ad. Ads have the tiniest little close button so you will click the ad and get taken out of the app guaranteed 9/10. If you've got normal hands like me, you'll for sure be struggling, so hopefully your fingers are pencils or you're using a stylus. Also it's tied to facebook so that says a lot. 0 stars.
