1 ★This app use to be good. Now it just says need update. My phone is updated. No update on google playstore. Uninstalled.
2 ★I have used this app for years on a variety of devices. For the past 5 - 7 days, it no longer works on any device. Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no luck.
1 ★At the present time, it's horrible! I've got flash flood warnings for a week ago Tuesday! The sound double plays, and video keeps looping commercials! I enjoyed having a local weather/traffic app. I rely on it everyday. But this update is a hot mess! I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Still messed up! Y'all need to fix this ASAP!
3 ★Hi! Could someone please fix the sound levels on the app? The ads are easily heard, but then even when making my phone as loud as the speakers will handle, I have to put my ear to the phone to be able to hear the weather forecasters speaking. But that makes it so I can't see the graphics they are talking about. Can the actual KXAN videos please be as loud as the advertisements? I tried emailed the developer, and it bounced back as blocked. Thanks!
1 ★I used to think this was the greatest app ever several years ago. Now it's so pathetically slow you can't even get anything to display properly. In fact, the 7 day and the hourly forecast no longer will display. This used to be the greatest app ever, now it's worthless! Someone needs to fix this app ASAP!
1 ★I've used this app for years, but for the last month or so, it's no longer working. When I open it, it doesn't show current conditions, and sometimes absolutely nothing shows on the radar screen, even when I expand the view to include the entire country or world map. I tried uninstalling it from my phone, then installed again. No difference. I tried clearing all of the data and cache, but that doesn't help either.
2 ★More of an annoyance than anything. While the notifications can be turned off, when they are turned on, they will hammer you constantly. I have had 10 notifications in the past hour regarding the Tornado Watch that is in effect. Notify me there is a Tornado Watch fine, but don't keep sending out numerous other notifications. I thought reinstalling this app after I got annoyed with it previous was right, apparently I was wrong. Bye By KXAN
3 ★This app is okay, but would benefit from a different approach, in my opinion. Like the website, it autoplays videos, such that you will see irrelevant forecasts after the first one that comes up. Less could be more. The app is gaudy and ad-heavy. I don't mind ads, but they shouldn't blow up my phone with the same noisy jingle once every minute or so. Slow loading, eats power, too many notifications. Simplify, streamline, speed, and make easier to use at a glance. I prefer kxan, wish app was A+
3 ★It's nice to have a local app to provide this information. I use it frequently. I would like it to be accurately updated more frequently. Often daily and hourly forecasts do not agree like a low of 59 shown for the day when hourly only shows it getting to 76. Likwise with rain.
1 ★Version 4.10.400 constantly crashes my Moto Droid Turbo 2 running the latest Android 7.0. Any navigation of the menu eventually causes a total system freeze -- reboot is the only way to recover. Until recently, previous versions worked fine, and I was happy with this app. But now it's unusable.
1 ★I like KXAN, but this app is horrible. Every single time I open it, there's no weather updates. It doesn't follow me (despite permission being granted) & even if I check a specific location, nothing. Just deleted it & going to Fox7 (despite the fact I like KXAN crew more), I need/want a reliable weather app & KXAN is not it. Fix it & I'll come back.
3 ★Overall, the app is good for a local weather station app. There are some features on other weather apps that I like better. The one aspect I absolutely hate is that the commercial you have to view is 3 times louder than the forecast video I want to watch. VERY annoying.
