Bellwood School District 88 is composed of the villages of Bellwood, Maywood, Hillside, Broadview, Melrose Park, and Stone Park. We are located approximately ten miles directly west of Downtown Chicago. The District 88 community with a population of approximately 20,000 is an attractive, striving community in which residents cite excellent village services, affordable housing; and improving schools as examples of positive factors within the community. The populations of the seven school sites are culturally rich and economically diverse.
