Indigital Storytelling is a beautiful and intuitive app that uses your device camera to precisely spot and identify Indigenous places, artworks and objects. Once your camera 'sees' a place, artwork or object in your live environment, a Traditional Owner virtually shares their story with you through their cultural expression within your live environment. In the future you will be able to watch Dreaming's come to life through #3D animation, listen to Traditional Owners share important knowledge with you and learn more about our rich global Indigenous cultures.
Future markers will be for sale in physical format. By purchasing the markers for this app when they become available you will be supporting Indigenous Peoples' to maintain their connection to Country through digital jobs, and economic development opportunities. Future sites are being developed also and users will be able to purchase content at specific cultural locations when they become available.
All content has been produced ethically. Data ownership, intellectual property and copyright have been respected. Importantly 50% of the sale of the app markers directly financially benefits Traditional Owners.
