Ombobon akan mencoba menjelaskan proses penyetelan karburator standart yang sangat mudah, tetapi lebih bagus kalau karburator di bersihkan dulu dan filter bensin serta filter udara juga ikutan di bersihkan supaya kotoran atau endapan yang ada didalamnya dapat di buang begitu juga dengan pilot dan main jet ikut bersihkan. Untuk pilot dan main jet kalo bisa di bersihkan dengan carburator cleaner supaya waktu lebih singkat tapi kalo gak punya ya… pake bensin aja ato pake tiner kalo punya.Setelah dibersihkan pasang kembali sparepart karburator ke posisi semula dan tempatkan ke manifold dengan baik dan benar…. kalo tidak bisa terjadi kebocoran pada sambungan.
1.Putar ke kanan setelan angin sampai mentok kemudian putar balik ke kiri untuk motor bebek 1,4 – 1,5 putaran dan untuk motor sport sampe 2,5 putaran.
2.Setel gas untuk putaran 3000 – 5000 rpm
3.Hidupkan mesin……bremmm…bremmmm
4.Kemudian Setel baut angin sampai posisi suara mesin tertinggi atau suara knalpot tidak nembak walau sekecil apapun kira kira antara 1,4 – 1,6 putaran untuk motor bebek. untuk motor sport dari 2,4 – 2,6 putaran.
5.Jika sudah ketemu suara mesin tertinggi maka turunkan setelan baut gas hingga posisi idle atau gak matian…..(900 -1100 rpm)..
6.Lalu cek sekali dua kali untuk di gas…. bremmm…..bremmmm dan setelah posisi idle mesin gak mati …maka motor sudah enak di ajak jalan jalan dan mudah mudahan irit.
7.Kalau masih mati ulangi proses dari pertama biar puas…puas.
