1 ★All ads, no fun. Update: The developer said there are no ads while playing. Correct probably not. But I played once. After that I realized when you open the app to play you are stuck in Neverending cycles of ads. I stand by my review. Make it clear that unless you want to watch a LOT of ads, you won't even get to play after the initial download.
3 ★I really like this game. Iran fun and it makes you think. But what I don't like is the fact that I can't listen to Spotify or other music services or YouTube when playing. I put on my chill Playlist and I can't even listen to it. Do you mind changing it so it won't pause my music whenever I play the app? Then it can truly be chill because that's what I want to do when I play this game.
5 ★Great simple game as always. Skippable ads throughout the game. I will admit it does get frustrating/annoying after awhile with the ads but since the app doesn't ask for permissions to your phone I'm okay with that. Most apps nowadays want all your data to sell so thank you dev! I appreciate that.
2 ★Good game but the undo function is broken. The random generator state should be restored when doing undo. Otherwise we can just hit undo whenever we have a new random block that we don't like and get another one. This makes the game very easy. Edit: I saw the answer but still not convinced. Undo + restore random state would still allow "different paths": the 4 possible directions. That is fair. Undo with new random state = we can hit undo until we have something that we like by bruteforce.
4 ★Fun Game, pretty addictive once you get into it. - Edit: I originally complained about no option to turn sound off. The developer replied (which is awesome, massive credit for that) and my complaint was resolved. 4 stars as the menu isn't obvious, like a standard 3 line icon or word menu.
4 ★Forgot to install on my Androids after a few years, a little different now but still fun and addictive. Bring back the bigger sized grids and more swipe speed/fusion of tiles settings, like the 6x6 grid I think. And the slow,normal, fast, very fast, something like that.
5 ★This is the original with single undo that should have been the original official release. Along with the stats, this has become 2048 perfected! What remains as a couple of improvements are reducing file size and fixing the occasional jitter that occurs during gameplay.
4 ★I love this game so much. Everything is gr8 but one thing I don't like is that I can't play spotify music while playing which sucks cuz I play for a long time and I want to listen to music on the side. Update: problem solved, I just had to turn off sound 🤣 thank u to the one who replied to my review.
5 ★Okay im sorry for being rude in my first rating. Thank you developer for responding on my rating, i decided to rate 5 because the dev actually listens to feedbacks fast, my last issue has been dealt with and now this is what i really want to say. The game is simple and it had smooth animations, some features and animations arent too much and it kept the simplicity aspect. Good job dev, i wish the board size would adjust, adapting to the phone screen size but it doesnt matter. Just a suggestion
5 ★I love playing 2048. Especially while listening to music, its so relaxing. I play it at school before a test and it always helps with the pressure and anxiety. Great game and I recommend it for people who have anxiety that gets really overwhelming.
3 ★It would be nice if there was a way to remove ads with a payment, or opt into targeted advertising. I keep getting the same ad over and over again each time I start a new game. It's very annoying and takes away from the experience. I understand that the developer needs to make money, but I'm pretty sure there are different, and better ways to go about that than having one ad in the whole app.
5 ★I loved this game but it updated yesterday (3/17/2022) and now I can't use it. it's super zoomed in, I can only see a 3x3 box. I see a lot of developer comments saying to update the app but there's no additional update for Android/Google play. I'm very disappointed and hope it's fixed so I can update this review to 5 stars. update: the 4.8.4 update resolved the game issues. I'm back to enjoying this app!
