Pelumas mesin 2 tak (oli samping), digunakan khusus untuk melumasi poros engkol, batang piston, blok silinder, piston dan ring piston pada motor 2 tak. Mempunyai viskositas lebih rendah dari pada oli mesin sehingga tahanan pompa rendah, mudah bercampur dengan bensin, mudah dibakar dan mempunyai daya lumas tinggi.
Pelumas mesin (oli mesin) – Pada sepeda motor 2 tak digunakan untuk pelumas gigi transmisi dan kopling, untuk motor 4 tak digunakan untuk melumasi bagian-bagian mesin yaitu poros engkol, batang piston, blok silinder, piston, ring piston, transmisi dan kopling.
