How do you play?
Put on your headphones and use your smartphone’s touchscreen like a joystick:
- to move around freely;
- to fight using your sword;
- to defend yourself and protect yourself with your shield during epic fights;
- to repel your enemies and perform combos!
Live the adventures of Edward Blake, the famous blind knight! Guided by your daughter Louise, you must find your way and avoid the many traps that lie in store in the High Castle Kingdom, while confronting dangerous enemies!
This serious game is fully accessible to visually impaired people, and is aimed at anyone who’s eager for an original, immersive sensory experience through a ground-breaking video game. And because the player is the character, it will help raise public awareness of this kind of disability.
It is free to download and was co-created thanks to support from a community of fans who helped with the crowdfunding campaign (www.ulule.com/a-blind-legend) and in a co-production with France Culture, a Radio France station.
This hack-and-slash game, with a heroic-fantasy flavour, harnesses the innovative technology of binaural sound, which delivers a gripping 3D soundscape and brings characters and actions vividly to life around the player – as if they were actually in the game!

3 ★Hey Dowino Team! Very innovative and great game A Blind Legend is. I really liked this game and played it. But I found some issues in it which made me to play it less. Like, the issue I found was that while playing the game when any whatsapp message is received, The game automatically gets mute. It is so annoying and killing my interest to play this game. Please fix this as soon as possible
4 ★i really want to support this game because it's innocative, accessible, and mostly well done. the acting and story aren't incredible nor immersive but i feel like it's decent for a free game with honorable intensions. i'm currently stuck on the ice, where i'll walk step by step closer to Louise and constantly asking where she is, she will tell me to go right ahead until she's suddenly behind me, then i have to do it again and again. félicitations à la team pour ce jeu original et facile d'accès
5 ★This game is so awesome. My daughter is visually impaired she loves this game But she can't find more aidio games. I recommended for a few visually impaired and they love this game. I enjoy it my self I love challenges with my daughters help with visually impaired she do much better. I play sims on mu PC. can you please develop a sims free play for visually impaired like audi for talk back on mobile and tablet. that will be greatfull🙄

5 ★It is one of the most perfect games for the blind on both apple ios and android, wonderful, its a hack and slasha nd you see like video game which is cool cuzz some visually impaired gamers cannot understand the idea of a just audio, so you get both accessibility and a video game feel and also you just follow the sound of your daughters voice, five stars.
4 ★This is a fun game and it's Quite enjoyable and relaxing. The only thing I dont like is how easy it is to accidentally go to the main menu, and having to do an entire area over again, it'd be great if the main menu control was adjustable to maybe 3 finger swipe

5 ★This is such an innovative game that I hope becomes a huge genre! I do hope we will get a better voice than the emotionless vocaloid/assistant. That kinda takes you out of the world but I understand why you are unfortunately only able to use it. Amazing game!!!
5 ★Mind Blowing as F***. Literally mind blowing. I can't think of any other words. Its just mind blowing. Literally and figuratively mind blowing. 🤯🤯🤯. I loved it and hoped to have another games like this. Legitimate is real on this game. Makes me use my imagination to the scenarios.
5 ★The game is totally different from everything I've experienced in the past. So much interesting purpose. Strongly recommend to anyone who's looking for something that isn't the same cliche as most games found on Google Play currently.
4 ★I love this game and the idea behind it, through can you change the "swipe with bith fingers to go to the main menu" to something like "swipe both to the right" because whenever a bear attacks me and I pinch to get my shield up I suddenly hear "Loading", it goes to the main menu, and I have to replay that part
5 ★I like it, it help me grow my creative thinking. I never play like this kind of game. Overall it was awesome the new game that based only on sound i created a mini world in my mind and put me in tropical forest, theres a dog barking, smithing at ringing bells at church.
