Description
Waridasu (割り出す) is a Japanese word meaning to calculate, compute, or infer. You will need fill a grid with numbers by using mathematical clues and logic to infer the correct values.There are two varieties:
Standard - Each number can only appear once in each row and once in each column. Each square has one additional clue. Sizes range from 4x4 to 9x9.
Mesh - Each number can only appear once in the whole grid. Each square is connected to its neighbors by a clue.
There are six different types of mathematical clues. Here are some examples:
+7 - The sum must be 7... 1+6, 2+5, 3+1+3
-2 - The difference must be 2... 3-1, 6-4, 9-7
×24 - The product must be 24, e.g. 3×8, 1×4×6
÷3 - The quotient must be 3, e.g. 9÷3, 6÷2
odd - All numbers must be odd... 1, 3, 5, 7, 9
even - All numbers must be even... 2, 4, 6, 8
