대구광역시 남구 앞산에 위치한 고산골 골짜기에 생성된 “고산골 공룡 발자국“입니다.앞산 고산골에 나타나는 공룡발자국 화석은 약 1억만년 전 중생대 백악기의 것으로 등산로 아래 개울가의 넓이 23~26평의 평탄한 암반(퇴적암) 하상에 4~5개가 나타난다. 이 공룡발자국 화석은 세 개의 발가락 흔적이 보이는 조각류와 용각류에 속하는 초식공룡으로 추정되며, 발자국의 크기는 20~30cm 정도 내외다.
화석 산지를 눈으로만 보기보다 재미있게 관찰하기 위한 어플리케이션 입니다.
