Description
Birth of the Empires (also known as BotE) is a turn-based 4X strategy game set in space in the style of classics such as Microprose's Master of Orion 2 or ST: Birth of the Federation. By choosing one of six major races aim is to gain control and supremacy over a part of the galaxy, either by diplomatic or military means. Further victory conditions are available at game start.Earth, 2121: Spaceflight coming nearer and the third world war was long in the past, the future looks bright again for mankind. The whole universe with all its fascinating worlds, lifeforms, species and anomalies lies ahead of each brave man and woman aboard their starships eager to find new life, a new home and contact to whatever civilization there may be outside Earth system, to explore the unexplored, to encounter the unencountered.
Take command of one race during the beginning stages of their empire, but beware, there is more than one way leading to victory and each time, mastering it will be different. It will likely change and you are challenged to keep the balance within the galaxy quadrant or seize galactic power for your race and thereby establish your own "balance" in the galaxy!

WARNING: For best experience at least a 6" screen is recommended, else fonts and buttons might be too small.
WARNING #2: There is a new Option called "Enable Preload". If you had no issues before version 0.6.19 then you can safely enable it to make the UI snappier. If you had issues then DON'T enable it.
If you have enabled it by accident and your game doesn't starts please go into the device's Settings-Application Manager-Birth of the Empires and tap "Clear Data" and "Clear Cache". This will unfortunately also delete your savegames.

Tooltips! Hold finger on the research item and after the tooltip is shown, drag it away without lifting it to read what buildings/ships will be unlocked by the next level.
Ships, research, races, sectors, suns, planets, troops all have tooltips now.
Google Drive integration may have bugs, check files on your drive before deleting them from your device.
How to install Birth of the Empires APK on Android phone or tablet?
Download Birth of the Empires APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:

Go to Downloads

Q: What is an APK File?
A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

3 ★This game really looks interesting and I would love to play but the font size is just too small and there's no option to increase the size. It's too small to see anything. Please add the option to make the font size bigger!!!
4 ★Great strategy game. I can play for hours on end and never get bored. I only have one issue with game. I signed a non aggression treaty with the Rotharians and now they're on my territory trying to terraform lands and colonize planets but I can't go onto they're lands at all which seems very unfair..we should both be able to traverse onto each other's lands and with this pact or neither should be able to...pls fix

5 ★Great port of an old PC game. Works well and has great strategy gameplay with lots to learn. Would play again.
4 ★This is Star Trek: Birth of the Federation redone without the Star Trek license. ST:BOTF was a PC game from 1999. Amazing game but with some fatal flaws that seem to continue here. Romulans and Cardassians would sabotage you mercilessly the moment you encountered them. Klingons and other empires would demand countless gifts and if you declined they'd get pissed and usually declare war. If you can manage to maintain one friendly empire relationship you're doing great.
1 ★How am I supposed to know how to do anything? Also Space Empires > Master of Orion
5 ★I have finally re-established contact between all 6 tribes of Taroka! :D I reccomend making this an achievement. We'll call it "family reunion".
5 ★I love game like these! Turn based strat game and space battle. I only wish there is multiplayer or hotseat battles. Still 5/5 for me.
5 ★I always come back to the game no matter how long it's been and I love it every time it does take time to learn but it's worth it
5 ★Entertaining. It's deep. I'd say it's hard to master, but it's not that easy to learn. Games are highly configurable, so you can customize the experience you want. I like the OST. I'd love to know their names to be able to listen to them. It is fun and engaging. Worth playing. I've sunk at least 30 or so hours into the game across accounts and platforms as of writing this.
