Description
اُدْعُوْنِيْٓ اَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْیعنی اے بندو ! تم لوگ مجھ سے دعائیں مانگو میں تمہاری دعاؤں کو قبول کروں گا۔
اور حضورِ اقدس صلی اﷲ تعالیٰ علیہ وسلم نے بھی دعاؤں کی اہمیت اور ان کے فوائد کا ذکر فرماتے ہوئے اپنی امت کو دعائیں مانگنے کی ترغیب دلائی اور فرمایا کہ
لَيْسَ شَيْيٌ اَکْرَمَ عَلَي اللّٰهِ مِنَ الدُّعَآءِ
یعنی اﷲ تعالیٰ کے دربار میں دعا سے بڑھ کر عزت والی کوئی چیز نہیں ہے۔ (ترمذی باب فضل الدعاء ص۱۷۳ جلد۲)
اور دعاؤں کی فضیلت و اہمیت کا اظہار فرماتے ہوئے یہاں تک ارشاد فرمایا کہ
اَلدُّعَآءُ مُخُّ الْعِبَادَةِ
یعنی دعا عبادت کا مغز ہے (ترمذی جلد۲ ص۱۷۲)
اور یہ بھی فرمایا :
مَنْ لَّمْ يَسْئَلِ اللّٰهَ يَغْضَبْ عَلَيْهِ
جو خدا سے دعا نہیں مانگتا خدا عزوجل اس سے ناراض ہو جاتا ہے۔(ترمذی جلد۲ ص۱۷۲ ابواب الدعوات)
