Apple TV AirPlay:
- AirPlay must be enabled in settings
- Battery Optimization must be disabled for Android 6.0 Marshmallow and up, local cast of audio and photo not supported. MKV files not supported. Some urls formats not supported.

Xbox One & Xbox 360:

Fire TV: some video movie formats not supported.

The following streaming devices and Smart TVs are also supported: DLNA devices, Android TV, Xbox One & Xbox 360, WebOS, Netcast

Some Smart TVs have Google Chromecast app (or DLNA) built-in:
according to this: https://www.google.com/chromecast/built-in/tv/
If you have any of those models, please check if it has one of the streaming receivers to see if it's compatible to cast to TV.

Castify does not modify the video sources. It only sends the original source to your streaming receivers. The app does not hosts any content. Therefore the compatibility and availability of the videos are dependent on the source websites themselves.

-This app only casts from websites that uses public format. Proprietary video & movie formats will not cast to TV.

-If a video is not playing or a disconnection occurs, it could be several reasons:
1. The ISP(Internet Service Provider)
2. The source website itself
3. Insufficient WIFI signal strength

Troubleshooting:
-Ensure your WIFI connection is stable and on the same network. Streaming online movies to TV requires a good internet connection.
-Most connection problems can be resolved by restarting the casting receivers or phone.
-Flash movie websites are not supported by stream device manufacturers.

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

3 ★Used this app for close to 2 years now. For the last 4 months it just stopped connecting to my TV. I've updated both app and TV. Force reset, checked connections, reinstalled apps. No longer works and I give up with it. Even tried manually establishing a link via IP address, gateway and Mac ID and even going as far as to use other proxies like Googles IP. Nothing works. However, when it was working. No ads, my ROKU (physical) remote functions all worked, best casting app I tried of 3.
5 ★Awesome app. Casts perfectly to my 4k TV with Roku with MovieBox pro. I can cast any tv series or movie I want with perfect picture quality and sound. By far the best casting app I have had! Would recommend to anyone with a Roku that uses MovieBox pro or CinemaHD or other apk for their tv series and movies. I have Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, Disney+, MovieBox pro & Roku.
3 ★For a Roku device or TV this is the best one I have came across. It's so easy to use but also has a ton of features. My only complaint is its way over priced for a android app that doesn't need constant updates like a Antivirus app. Shouldn't have a time limited price and such a high lifetime price! Dev lower the price or at least have a sale once in awhile. UPDATE I had a problem and the Dev was super nice and helpful! Turned out I just didn't know how to do it 😃.
5 ★I enjoy the ease and the many ways on which the app taskkills... Very robust, yet I'm a bit leery of the information collecting and personal data mining. I may be wrong, for I am no expert, yet there was some disturbing code left behind with one of the apps I got in a group along with this one. So giving it another try, also - the onetime - payment subscription is a bit misleading, figuring the server side has a bit weekly charge.
5 ★I actually love this app. Why? It works perfectly for me. I can cast anything from my phone straight to my tv. Personal videos... and anything from the browser search engines. It's like having a 55" screen laptop. All the other apps I tried sucked. Too much to figure out and just didn't work. So for me anything I can view on my phone I can cast it to my tv instantly. No problem. That's what I like about this app. I hope this helps you. I say try it out for yourself.
2 ★This used to be a really good app. However, the latest updates crash frequently and you no longer can fast forward or rewind the movie. So, if you're an 1hr into a movie and the app crashes you must start to whole movie over and not where you left off. It's such a pain in the ass I'm ready to stop using this app. it would be nice if it were fixed soon.
1 ★I am trying to cast photos from my phone to tv. It started streaming some ridiculous cartoon that I could never remove from my screen. I was able to open photos one at a time, but every time it would ask to turn off battery saving mode, which I had already done. Eventually, it crashed and I uninstalled.
5 ★Easier and better than any other casting app out there, no hidden fees no crazy pop ups, no problem with connecting your devices and a great thing that other cast or mirroring apps don't have like this one is all the choices of the most popular casting devices that people are you using right now, they are compatible with, other devices even if they say they deal with all the different ones that are out there still when you say you Roku they still show all the different casting devices available
5 ★So for me, I have kept this app around not because I use it but because it fixed a settings function my phone was already supposed to have pre-built into it. So even though I don't use the app, I still appreciate the developer's hard work in making sure it functions correctly and fixes a the Samsung Android livecast bug.
1 ★This app has no function. It just adds a dumb broken cast button, but my tv just sits there with "ready to cast" displayed on the cast while my video just plays on my phone. It can mirror screens, but just like google home that means my phone has to keep its screen on. PS LEAVE MY SCREEN ROTATION ALONE!!! NO APP DESERVES A STAR IF IT WANTS TO F WITH MY SETTINGS!!!
1 ★This app and many like it seem to all be made by the same people and the ads and constant overlay pop ups is insane. I thought it was sites I visited but no, it only occurs on this app. Pointless and deceptive. Why bother if all your going to do is bombard users so they cant even cast? Get rid of the ads or at least stop swarming users with them. Not to mention the pop up blocker let's %90 of ads right through. Use Brave as a framework, then redesign the in app browser. Its 2021...come on guys.
2 ★Suddenly getting interference with installed browser app as Castify wants to take over normal browsing and no way to turn off browser function in Castify...sad, was only app that wouls stream smoothly to Roku TV...which was also a mistake, btw. Not sticking around to see what other unwanted feature they want to bloat up to next.
