Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

User's Reivew

1 ★Love Sonar - underwhelmed by app. Goofy interface. Metronome needs tap tempo. Maybe fill that big space with a button.
1 ★All it does is crash so no idea what it does
2 ★Audio playback sounds horrible
1 ★No idea how this works.
4 ★Melodies, rhythms and harmonies often pop into my head when I'm nowhere near an instrument but I'm always near my phone! This app will allow me to easily capture such ideas by singing or tapping them with the added bonus of being able to bring then into Sonar. I suspect I will use it a lot! *But then again, as Cakewalk is sadly closing I guess not*
1 ★As much as I love SONAR, this is too immature to be called a product and to be sold. It is not designed for and neither by musicians. It is NOT easy to use. It provides no minimally useful editing. Metronome is garbage. UX overall is garbage. Tiny fonts are unreadable too. Sync failed several times on a stable WiFi/DSL connection. If you do want to spend some time writing music on a phone, use Caustic 3 and/or LoopStack on Android or tons of software on iOS. Yes, it has future as a technology. Its cloud-sync will rock one day. But as an app, it's absolutely useless now. Cakewalk, I'm willing to provide constructive feedback, but please provide a way for it. There's not enough space to write my full rant with solution proposals here.
3 ★Idea is very good. User interface is easy to use The app freezes sometimes (Galaxy S7 Edge). If it won't I would give 5 stars.
3 ★Hmmmm... Not sure. OK, so I'll admit, I've only had one go at this. But I'm really disappointed with the (lack of) functionality here. I don't need to pay £3 a month, just to record audio files on their phone and import them into Sonar. We can all do this today for free with any audio recorder and cloud service of your choice. Sure it acts like a 4 track audio recorder in your pocket but I had hoped this would me more akin to Garage Band on the iPad where you can actually sequence ideas, with soft instruments on the fly and then import those ideas back into the full version of Garage Band for further work. It feels like Cakewalk have really missed a trick here and it's not enough, as it stands, for me to pay a subscription fee for. Really disappointed.
5 ★Make sure to check out the vst companion plugin
5 ★Looks promising. Keep up the good work.
5 ★So far, I really like it as a way of getting ideas down, on the go. Can't wait to tinker more with it and Sonar together. Any prospect of midi instruments in the future?
1 ★Not quite sure what use this app is. I couldn't make it do anything. I couldn't connect it to anything, it didn't seem to do anything. Not even sure what they mean by "idea". All too vague, hardly anything there anyway, costly to run and the most Byzantine interface ever
