* Subsynth - Virtual analog subtractive synthesizer
* PCMSynth - Multi-sample wave synthesizer
* BassLine - 303-like monosynth
* BeatBox - 8-channel sampling drum machine
* PadSynth - Harmonic table pad synthesizer
* 8BitSynth - 8bit equation solver synthesizer

* Organ - Hammond-like tonewheel organ with rotary speaker
* Vocoder - 8-band harmonic vocoder
* FMSynth - DX-style 3-operator fm synthesizer
* KSSynth - Karplus-Strong string modeling synth
* SawSynth - Supersaw-type polysynth (new!)

The app also includes:
* Effects rack supporting 2 effects per machine. (20 effect types)
* Mixer desk with global Delay/Reverb effects
* Master section with parametric EQ and limiter

All files are stored on the user-accessible storage, and users can supply their own WAV files for use in the PCMSynth, BeatBox, and Vocoder.
Supports all uncompressed WAV files (8-16-24-32bit, any sampling rate).
The PCMSynth can also load SoundFont files (.sf2), SFZ and FL Studio mobile instruments (.instr, .ZIP)

Class-compliant USB MIDI controllers can be connected via USB OTG cable on devices running at least Android 3.2 and supporting USB host mode.

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

User's Reivew

4 ★I really love this DAW - free, yet so versatile! Awesome! Feature idea: in the wav editor, you can do pitch changes. I'd really like it if the user could change the 'grain size' like I've seen ableton-users utilise. It makes it sound pretty glitchy and I'd love to play around with that kind of thing. Thank you!
4 ★Caustic is truly extraordinary. It is amazing the range of music you can make with this one app. It's relatively simple, yet it has vast potential. HOWEVER it is starting to show its age. I can't say for sure that the project has been abandoned, but it's been over 3 years since the last update. It is a shame because I can't think of a single app I've been more impressed with.
4 ★After about 2 months of intense usage, creating a demo from scratch is quite easy and fast to do. Overall a very good tool but limited when it comes to vocal recording (recording length). Also, I would've loved to see new presets for the instruments; that would be very cool.
5 ★Fave DAW for Android without a doubt. License is practically free and what amazing amounts of possibilities you get in return. I don't think the app is still updated but works like a charm nonetheless. (And Dev still replies to e-mailss) Combine it with the desktop app! Also worth a mention is the mastering tool by the same dev. Tx.
4 ★Used to use this personally til i switched to cakewalk. Definitely for those broke bois without a PC, get it. It's great for beginner producers. I know it would be asking too much for this app to also have VST compatibility but you never know, Caustic 4 could and would compell me to get it maybe.
5 ★Been using this from C1. Its grown enormously but the simple mechanics that lead to the surprisingly versatile app are always present. Reviews such as "why no pause button" are revealing about the user. Stop is pause. Stop twice is stop. Etc. Beginners and experts can find something in here. Its about what you make it.
5 ★this daw is amazing, a few tweaks same updates would make this even better, we seroiusly need a new update in which we could add infinite machines and effects rather than the 14 machine and 2 effects limit.Also it would be better if we could directly use the samples instead of putting them in a machine.And if this daw supported mp3 it would be much better.
2 ★Yo! Y'all gonna update your app soon? On my old phone it worked perfectly. On my new phone it says your app was developed for an older version of Android and I should ask you guys to UPDATE YOUR APP! I loved using it, but now, on my new phone with the latest version of Android, there is almost a whole second of latency. For the way I use the app it means it's unusable. Which sucks, because I paid for the full version. You guys created a FANTASTIC bit of software.... PLEASE UPDATE!!!! Love ya!
4 ★For those who can't zoom just use your triple tap zoom function in your settings in your phone if your phone allows you to make that option. I've used this before in the past and it's a decent little daw. Although I'm used to the layout of FL studio and know where everything is already at but with this app it's a totally new game
4 ★This app is SO AWSOME but i have something to say is that when i go to my files and select the defenitive megalovania the samples are not there and the samples are only pingas and piness so i needed overdriven guitar but how do i get it please?
5 ★Well, I finally did it; I purchased the key, and I'm glad I did. Every since I downloaded the free version, my mind has literally birthed new ideas in more ways than one. This is some mind-blowing, awe inspiring music making software, period. I thank God for the man who made this! Yes, I like Garageband, but this software is just as good, maybe better. I'm a Caustic Warrior. I'll be sharing some beats really soon.
3 ★Positive: Has MODULAR synth, has sampling synth (PCM), No limits in automations and sampling, good for synthesis Negative: Horrible workflow, no numbers on volume you wont see how much db youre peaking at, terrible piano roll workflow, only 2 fx can be added per track, only 14 channels maximum Overall. I would pick FL mobile. But if you change the workflow of this ill probably go back here.
