How to install FDT View APK on Android phone or tablet?
Download FDT View APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
Go to your phone Settings page
Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
Check the Unknown Sources box
Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads
Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files
Tap the APK file you downloaded (com.akl-v2.0.42-ApkClean.apk)
Tap Install when prompted, the APK file you downloaded will be installed on your device.

1 ★Just plain sucks. Used to recognize my FDT camera, not now for some reason. Works on my tablet and my wife's phone. You'd think the folks at FDT would figure out their software sucks and would fix it. Is it too much to ask? If there were other apps that would work with this camera, please let.me know!
1 ★I have been like all the many reviews before me.... discouraged, aggravated, impatient with FDT app. Worked before & not now. Like all the others, took camera down reinstalled with no success! It will not connect to internet. To reach Customer Service is a lost cause.
1 ★One if the worst apps I've had to use. Crashes upon opening 99% of the time. takes at least 10 attempts for it to actually open. Then, once it's open, it crashes 50% of the time. Frustrating as all hell!!
2 ★This app never crashed until they fixed it. Now it's nearly impossible to open without it crashing and closing 12 to 15 times before it will open and run. FIX IT ALREADY!!!!
1 ★CONSTANTLY WON'T OPEN AND IS DRIVING ME CRAZY! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE UPDATE AND FIX ASAP. We bought the cameras to check on elderly animals, a person who is disabled, and the kids. This is utterly USELESS now most of the time. RETURN YOUR CAMERAS AND PURCHASE ANOTHER BRAND!
2 ★The app used to be more reliable. Now it crashed most of the time when trying to open. Have to keep trying a dozen times to open it up often time. I wouldnt recommend them.
2 ★I don't get movement alerts anymore when I talk to ppl they say they can't understand anymore. Maybe it's time to get a different camera but these did cost a bit and I don't want to invest in a different system if you all can fix the bugs in this one.
2 ★Alert email forwarding is now failing. All email setup is the same as before, fails. Tried all ports, 587, 25, 485, 2525, STARTTLS, SSL, TLS, NONE, AUTHENTICATION...none work on any of my 4 cameras. Push works fine. Fix this FDT !
3 ★I love this app when it works but it is usually hard to get it to run. I have to clear any open apps and free up memory but even then it may take a half dozen tries to get it to run.
1 ★Camera does not keep connected. Have to unplug Camera everyday. Useless app and Camera.
3 ★Its simple to use but it needs better access to tech support from the app! I tried calling their tech support and was put on hold for over 18mins. Not cool!
1 ★Camera disconnects if my phone is not being used. The prev camera that i had worked fine as it alerted when the phone screen slept. This new camera does not stay on so no good to me will return for refund.
