VR Shitanoya Jomon Museum (an official Nishitokyo City app) is an app that allows the user to experience the Jomon period within the Shitanoya Archeological Site Park in Higashi Fushimi.Actual photographs and CG can be viewed, making it possible to get a general understanding outline of the Shitanoya (archeological) site and what the age was like.
Shitanoya Movie: a movie that explains about the Shitanoya (archeological) site in easily understood terms. One can experience the connection between the archeological site, the lifestyle of the Jomon people, and today.
Virtual Jomon Search: Arial View of Shitanoya Village makes it possible to see the CG-created Shitanoya village of the Jomon period from the sky. In Village Life, it is possible to see a 360 degree panorama of Shitanoya village of the time. It is also possible to experience the interior of pit dwellings, the dwellings that Jomon people lived in. It is also possible to see daytime and nighttime views. In Bounty of the Forest, it is possible to see CG video of the gathering of fruits and nuts and hunting of deer, etc. In Trade Done by River, it is possible to see CG video of interchange with far away villages using boats on the still-extant Shakujii-gawa River.
