CMRU APP เป็น Official Application สำหรับมือถือบนระบบปฏิบัติการ Android ที่ทำให้ผู้ใช้สามารถติดตามข่าวสาร ค้นหาเบอร์โทรศัพท์ภายใน ปฏิทินวิชาการของนักศึกษา ความเคลื่อนไหวภายในรั้วมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏเชียงใหม่ภายในระบบมีระบบปฏิทินวิชาการที่ทำให้นักศึกษาไม่พลาดการติดตามงานวิชาการต่างๆได้อย่างรวดเร็ว เป็นทั้ง Application Portal ในการเชื่อมโยงไปยัง แอพพลิเคชั่นต่างๆ มีระบบข่าวสารและกิจกรรมให้ผู้ที่ใช้แอพพลิเคชั่นสามารถติดตามข่าวสารที่เกิดขึ้นภายในมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏเชียงใหม่ได้ มีเมนูสำหรับค้นหาเบอร์โทรศัพท์ภายในมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏเชียงใหม่ที่สะดวกสบายโดยผู้ใช้งานสามารถกดเบอร์โทรศัพท์เพื่อโทรผ่านแอพลิเคชั่นได้จากหน้าเมนูได้เลย ผู้ใช้งานแอพลิเคชั่นยังสามารถส่งสารถึงอธิการบดีได้โดยตรงผ่านเมนูสายตรงอธิการบดีอีกด้วย
