Description
WyVideo is a simple alternative for JVC's WiVideo. It lets you download photos and videos from JVC GC-XA1 cam.I didn't like WiVideo so I created my own app. You can use it to connect to your JVC GC-XA1 (Adixxion) camera just like via WiVideo and download not only photos but also videos, straight to your Android device, while the original WiVideo lets you download only photos. You can later share them via any mean with your friends or just convenietly watch on larger screen, without the need of PC version of WiVideo or memory card reader.
To download the media you have to set the camera password in the PC version of WiVideo and/or set the network profiles. You then need to use the Wi-Fi to Mobile function on the JVC GC-XA1 and connect to the same Wifi network, as your Android device - it can be a local wifi or an ad-hoc network (tethering) created by your device. Then just run my WyVideo Free to connect! Note that discovering the camera on the network can take some time and sometimes you have to try few times. I hope you enjoy it.
So far the app does not support live view, recording or changing camera settings. You can do that via original JVC WiVideo, but I'm working on it! The app supports only one camera in a network.
