Description
교단의 많은 분들의 참여와 관심속에 성장초창기 한부선 선교사가 1946년 11월부터 신학교 도서관을 위해 도서의 수집을 실시하고, 미국의 관심 있는 분들인 스푸너, 한위렴 목사 등이 고려신학교에 상당한 책들을 기증하였다. 하도례 목사 (1954년 내한)는 처음부터 도서관에 관심을 가지고 봉사해왔으며, 미국 정통장로교회 여러 목사들과 평신도들도 도서를 기증해 주어 오늘에 이르게 되었다.
개혁주의 신학 관련 도서를 소장
칼빈의 “기독교 강요” 원본을 비롯하여 다양한 신학 서적과 Princeton Theological Review 전질등의 정기간행물을 포함하여 많은 개혁주의 장서를 소장하고 있는 신학전문 도서관이다.
신학전문 학술정보센타의 역할을 감당
전자학술정보 시스템을 갖추고 모든 이용자들이 언제 어디서나 편리하게 학술 연구 정보를 이용 할 수 있다. 지속적인 자료의 확충과 이용자 중심의 서비스를 통해 본원의 건학이념과 교육목표를 실천적으로 구현하는 신학정보센타의 역할을 감당하는 곳이 될 것이다.
